I fail to see the point in trimming the bottom? I could be wrong but won't that focus a certain amount of the plants energy on fixing the damages instead of making bud?

Perfect:leaf:
Absolutely perfect.
The only thing I'd recommend differently is leaving the large fan leaves behind, as they will still collect ambient light cascading down the sides of the cab.
But removing them does techinically shift energy towards the tops.
Although I'd say the tradeoff isn't worth it.
Actually now that I think about it, I think you did just perfect removing the amount of leaves you did.
I keep saying it, but it really is exactly what they needed.

Perfect trim job though, you'll notice the change in growth rate in the next three or four days.
Keep us posted.

Foolet, nobody ever points that out.
It's something I've been thinking about for months, and I've even used it in my trimming techniques.
Yes the plant will have to repair any open wounds.
But the amount of energy that a growing branch will drain at that low light intensity, is far worse than the energy it takes to seal up a little cut.
That's why I feel bad injuring plants, they still have to fix what you've done before the growth spurt. Also why I said the next three or four days as apposed to immediately.

Oh okay, because recently I topped all my bag seed and you can see the plant repairing itself and it obviously stops growing and focuses mainly on repairing and producing the new tops. Quiet interesting actually! I started growing a tomato plant after my weed because I just love it!

Thank you sirs :D..

They are easier to water now, that's a good thing :leaf:.. That new fan, i bought for $10 at walmart, its doing great. I had almost no air circulation in the top of the box. I found the scissors in the sewing section at walmart, they were $7, worth it, they work great.:eyesmoke:

My clones are looking better, at least the new growth is. My larger plants are 28" now, still growing about 1/2" a day. Oldest is 3 weeks flower, other is 2 weeks flower. By the end of week three they should be filling in good :D :leaf: There are bud sites every where, cant wait to see how much i get off of them.:leaf:

wow. that's going to be ALOT of bud haha that thing is a beautiful monster.
Thank you sir.

I thought my plants were to close to the hps but that was't the case. The new deformed/burned looking growth is from a Boron deficiency. My soil is real sandy and does not hold nutrients well. The African Violet i was using was missing A LOT of stuff my plants need. Got some new MG nutes :D. Its MG Cactus Plant Food 2-7-7, it has everything i need w/ lowest N i found locally, i will just use the 8-14-9 as a booster. Started foliar feeding yesterday, no new signs of deficiency so far. Heres some info i found useful:leaf:

Clones are doing great. I took pictures with a better camera. The oldest plant is a little over 3 weeks flower, youngest a little over 2 weeks flower. Waiting for the buds to start to fill in better. They are 29 1/2" tall. Growth slowed down to 1/4" per day, i am thinking they will get to 36"-40" w/ 45" being the end of the line  :leaf::leaf:
