FIRST REAL GROW (well ive done bagseed before) AND SURE TO DO SOIL OR HYDRO?

Well first off I finally got over my fear from ordering my seeds from attitude and got HAZE AUTOFLOWER, SOUR CREAM, SWEET DEEP GRAPEFRUIT, CONNIE CHONG, and LSD! Very excited about all of them but i guess the haze. Well what i wanted to see was will it be good to grow dirt or hydro. Itll be my first hydro grow and im a bit worried that it wont go right. Im thinking of just growing in dirt and taking the clones and growing those in hydro. I really cant mess these seeds up cause their pick and mix and i only have one of each. WHAT SHOULD I DO JUST GO FOR THE GOLD OR PUNK OUT AND DO DIRT?

I wouldn't say going soil is punking out. I have a few succesful grows under my belt and I still fear hydro. In my opinon I would stick with soil. Losing a pick and mix seed hurts, even more so when it's a strain you really want to try. I agree with your idea to try new things with clones. That way if something does wrong, you still got the mother

Yea the clone idea seems the best way just in case right. The only thing is the haze is autoflower and I've read that they can't be cloned. Oh I was just saying punk out because I was so amped to do hydro even bought a setup and now its game time and now I'm a bit scared.

Hydro is just a lil faster in production you can actually get the same yeilds if not more with soil as long as you do it right and have all the right supplys for the job

hydro is pretty unforgiving it would be pretty shitty to have lost that money for those seeds so i say stick with soil for this grow

I also heard that soil grow gives better taste. Y'all ever heard of that. They say hydro gives better yeld but soil gives better taste.

sounds like good idea. what hydro system do you have is it a DIY?

hydro is more controllable. as long as you take your measurements every few days and have the tools to correct what happening hydro is a lot easier.

I found a simple hydro system till I get more money to upgrade. Its just a clothes tub with a rockstone on the bottom and of course a netpots and rockwool.

Honestly it depends on what your goals are, what is your setup & budget, the space you are working with. I would recommend both just depends on what you are aiming to do. I started in hydro, I now use soil due to the fact you cannot use hydro with my method of growing perpetual. It requires moving & rearranging plants daily which you cannot do with hydro. (moving over 10ft mind you.)

If you plan on 1 simple grow in the same area with 1 light. I would get a nice DWC bucket, a good light & some decent nutes. Then stick around & let us assist you along the way keep us updated.

So I guess the next question is foxfarm bytes better then advanced nutrients? I hear way more about foxfarm on hear then I hear about advanced nutrients. So it made me wonder. Im not able to buy then go rebuy so I have to get it right.

Advanced will cost you more in the long run, I personally would go with the FF brand your first few go rounds. Then decide if you wanna switch it up, also use FF soil or Roots cause those will be great.

have u thaught about going soilless like sunshine mix#4 or pro mix. might be awsome for u to do. great results as well.

Well i got them in a wet papertowel tucked in a plastic bag under the sink. I got two bagseed plants that are in flower. I kinda lost intrest in them once the other seeds came in but since they are so far along I couldnt just toss them. I will def keep in touch with this thread cuz u guys are just masters at this, im sure u can answer any question i have. Hope to be thier someday.

With five plants growing i heard that 100 watts per plant is the way to go so ima get these cfl's that put off 300 watts each, two shold be good right
