First of all, they probably don't need to be watered up to four times a day. Other than that though, sometimes they take longer than two weeks. Sometimes shorter. Just happens that way.

if you keep your growing medium moist, instead of wet, the plant will try to grow some roots.

easiest way to do clones: Cut and immediately place in water. Let it sit in a window sill, that gets no direct sunlight, for at least 10 days. Put them into coco plugs (or whatever else you want to use) when the stem looks a bit swollen and pocked with white specs (those white specs are the new roots trying to sprout out). Keep the the coco plug (or whatever else) moist, not wet. In another 4 days you should have plenty of roots. Total time: 2 weeks.

Low temps slow rooting, overwatering slows rooting, high temps cause wilting, from what Ive been reading plants receiving allot of Nitrogen before taking cuttings slows rooting. I use T12 floros for cuttings. Lots of variables effect how long it takes for roots. As long as the cuttings arnt wilting back too badly dont sweat it too much just be patient and your pumkins will do fine. run lights 24/7

usually, just mist em a bit, as long as they dont wilt there is hope. If the laves become necrotic it is a good idea to trim off the dead ends with a pair of scissors.

A cheap clone dome, or what I used to use was a clear plastic wallmart tote with a lid is a huge help for keeping correct humidity. I only mist my clones about once a week the clone dome keeps enough humidity they dont dry out. Even a box with plastic cling wrap over it works.
