Do some strains = small fan leaves?

I'm growing a few different strains and my Skywalker OG have noticeably smaller fan leaves than the others. I have large hands and my Blue Dream leaves stretch from my wrist beyond my middle finger, but the largest Skywalker OG fans might be a little bigger than my palm; what gives?

Is this a problem on my end or is this type of thing as strain dependent as the shape of the leaves? From what I can tell, maximizing healthy fan leaves is one of the best ways to a bountiful harvest, so I'd like to get these little guys bigger if at all possible :leaf:

yah, of course different strains have different leaf shapes.. indica and indica dom strains have wider, narrower leaves and sativa and sativa dom strains have longer, thinner bladed leaves..
indica's also tend to be shorter in statue, and sativa's generally are taller and lankier, but of course there is always exceptions to the rules.. :)

It's just the phenotype, so no worries. But you are absolutely right about maximizing healthy fan leaves being one of the best ways to a bountiful harvest.

Obv there's the classic lanky sativa/squatty indica dichotomy, but the curious thing about this strain is that despite having been topped for four main colas UB-style, the Skywalker OG branched out and basically became a bush, whereas the Blue Dream is a 4" tall, four-headed monster with considerably less branching. And I call that 'curious' because the Skywalker leaves are quite thin, the kind of thing you'd expect from a sativa-dominant hybrid.
