Thanks for tips, actually had two computer fans and installed them(taking out the loud bathroom fan). This made it much much quieter. Also got all my light leaks taken care of.
BUT with the pc fans running and the doors shut and locked the temp gets up to 102 :/

Damnit. With the doors open its a cool 80. Might go pick up another cheap small fan to exhaust more air tomorrow.
Also im freezing water bottles and putting them in the grow space to try to help but its not helping enough apparently.

Damn you CFLs! And damn you LEDs for being to freaking expensive.
ok 102 is way to high
but look at bright side u solved problem with doors open u brought in more air
so means u need more air intake

Yes :/ only 102 for a couple of minutes because i was testing/watching very closely but i do need to figure something out.

Well currently i have one fan exhausting and the other fan blowing on the plants/lights (circulating air inside)Ill change it to act as an intact and hopefully pull the temp down.

What temps would be acceptable? Obviously weed grows in the desert but at what point will it hinder their growth?

85 or below

if in desert u need more or bigger fans
Hahahah no the plants are in a cabinet inside my place. My point was people grow weed in Afghanistan or the desert and it does fine.

KK dont know if i can hit 85 but the intake is blowing in cold air so we shall see. Running a doors shut test as we speak.

Well i think its helping but after 30min im still getting 90F (might even creep one or two higher if it was left to set for hours).

Think i let the door be cracked tonight and tomorrow il go get another fan for exhausting.

If anyone has any tips that ive overlooked id love to hear them. I want something fairly quiet though (main reason my ventilation fan/an inline fan wont work).

Thanks

With some large CFL'S you can get some good stuff. The last thread I was reading the guy pulled 76 grams off one plant. He showed the weight in a photo. Do you know what the CFM'S are on the computer fans by chance? If your going to run HPS I'd have 2 fans exhusting and one pushing in air. Look at a 125 CFM. It's still small in size about 6" x 6" and push's lot's of air. should only cost about 45 bucks with the fan and plug and cord to run it. I got mine from a computer store. My box run's at a 74-78 on a hot summer day. Keep your exhust fans on top of the box and or inlet on the bottom of the box.
