only the first three inches of soild should be wet, saturation=overwatered
Hmmm, where is that comming from,i was taught that plants should be watered thouroghly until the entire soil is soaked,i was taught there should be generous run off when watering.

After soaking the soil completely the plant should be allowed to dry out very well before watering again, then once soil is completely dry flood the entire soil again until heavy run off & let dry completely before watering again.

That method is supposed to encourage root growth & eleminate dry spots in the soil, infact its one of the most widly taught watering methods in mj growing.

Where is this comming from.

comming from my own personal experience, i like to water more frequently (some people eat three big meals a day while others eat 5-6 simple meals-better uptake and constant metabolism) and as w/ people using mg w/ 8 posts i can just see them drenching their ladies every other day.

@cranker I read your info regarding MG, my soil is mg and has nutrients in it but I have a 3:1 perlite, so no on further nutes until flowering?
