Resistance 3 for ps3

I got this today, and so far its damn amazing. Different a bit from the first 2. You got this feeling that there is no hope left. Which there isn't since 90% of people have been killed or "assimialted" by the Chimera. Oh and I got the Capelli Necklace with it.

Nice, I like PS3 exclusives. I was thinking of picking this up today, but Dead Island and Driver also came out and I can only buy one...

It definitely has somethings that remind me of fall of man. Like the aiming. There's no "lock on" aim, but I wanna say that the 2nd had that? The first 4 chapters are epic, in my opinion, on just introducing the game. And its got split screen co-op! Which the 2nd didn't.

no....2 didnt....they just changed the layout (weapon switch grenade etc) i didnt like how 2 lookd more like a cartoon, i like how 3 looked more like 1.....and yes i missed the co-op.......do they still have a decent multiplayer??? or just the competitive???

Yes, 2 was so well polished it was boring. I mean it got good reviews, I just thought it was boring, no replay value. But yes, if you liked fall of man, you'll like this. More emphasis on weapon up grade/secondary weapons. The "tag" for the bullseye is more effective. A lot of long range fighting, too.

My favorite "chapter" in Fall of Man was the one with the cathedral, which introduces the chimera dogs. And then you get in the cathedral and like a thousand leapers come out of no where. It was like, wtf!

You don't really need FOM or R2, to really play R3. Although Fall of Man is a classic, ps3s first big hit.

I just started chapter 7. I bet I sniped like 25 - 30 chimera on city buildings. Used most of my long range weapons ammo. God I love the Auger, just wish there was more Auger ammo lol.

Good to hear this game is decent at least. Fall of man was fantastic.. one of my favorite games. I bought Resistance 2, but it totally sucked compared to the first one, in my opinion. After I beat the game I never put it back in my PS3 again. I dont understand it... the story was terrible, the weapons and gameplay were worse... really, everything was worse. I have no idea how a developer could regress such a fantastic game after 2+ years of development... but I'm glad to see they've improved with R3. Looking forward to checking this game out. I used to be skeptical after the abomination that was R2.

anyone no where i can get replacement parts??? iv tried askin sony but they just run me in circles....and im tired of fixin this thing over and over again.....lookin for a ceche01 motherboard.....maybe with the blu ray card...(maybe longer ribbon cables too)...i had a site in the past but lost it....

didnt no they made a slim/....id given up on them a long time ago...

no thx..........id rather re-flow my fat system again.....although i dont use any of those old games nymore nywys....one of these days ill invest in a new one.....
