Wait till ALL the hairs are dead this will give u the most mature seeds with a good success rate..And you want to let them dry all the way and let them sit for at least a couple weeks or a lot of them won't pop

I'd go for this, but since you have a sativa plant i wouldn't let ALL hairs turn brown, since it will probably keep making white hairs till the day you harvest. I let them sit for 3-4 weeks. When i harvest i will hear a couple of ripe seeds fall of the plant easily. That means they're ripe.

thanks guy's, Only down side is my landlord has put my place on the market and with them being auto's and only 21 day's to hit the 75 day mark. so most of the other females have alot of amber hair's up them filling out nicely now so 1st of next month those will be getting done, even tho i put pollen from the male on 3 of them on a couple of the head's and they are the one's with the seed's showing right now, so i am hoping to get enough seed since i dont like paying for auto fem's.
thanks for your advice on this, has been very helpful.
So if i take the main cola off with the other bud's and just let the ones which have seed's showing they will still grow to being ripe?

Yes - that's the way to do it. Pollinate a couple of nice buds in the bottom and leaves those to ripen completely. Harvest the rest as trichomes go milky.
