Few smaller Cfl s or one Bigger CFL for Vegg

Hi folks , i m gonna build small speaker box grow for vegg, so i will use max 70 w for it , should i use 3 x 23 w 6500 k or one 65 w 6500 ? what combination will give better results ? help friends!

Depends on how many plants you have in there. More smaller cfls work just as good. If you have one or two plants vegging, the 65w would probably be best. You want to keep the cfls as close as you can to the plants for best results, if you have more than two plants you might want to use the smaller cfls to keep the lights close to all the plants. You might need more watt's depending on vegg-time and how large you want the plants to get. I'm sure you will be a fine judge of that. hope everything works out gl with the box

Thanks dude , i will keep max 2 or 3 small plants , max 3 - 4 weeks . i m in dilema couse i got already 3 23 w cfl at home , the bigger one of 65 w will cost me around 25 $

Np. Use those 23 watt'ers. I've seen someone pull 43g's using 2x23w cfls only. They will do fine.

probably i will , but if i find to buy one of 45 w , that bulb will use for mother plant , and 2 smaller for 2 clones , thanks dude , King regrads,

I would go with the smaller bulbs

I found a good deal at home depo. They had one three hundred Watt cfl for 14 bucks but also a box of 60 Watt cfl for 14 bucks, 12 n the box....bought the box and used six of them spread out so that put me at 360 Watts and still have six left over....gonna get some lamps and set them on the side!
