you're right, premiums have been going up. they nearly tripled in the 10 years before obama took office.

sorry to hear, mine was getting torn up too. i ended up getting some tape at HD that is for plumbing applications, supposed to be waterproof or at least resistant. we'll see what happens when the rains return.

So you're saying that if Obama's plan won't work, then nobodies will..... I'm saying Obamacare definately won't work, but the system does need to be fixed. Hopefully by the next president in 2012

i thought that if ron paul was elected, we'd all get free healthcare? that is what your fellow ron paul supporter, prefontaine, has said.

So after all the bluster about this jobs speech, it amounted to Stimulus .50, trillion that is. And it's paid for? Who the fuck believes that, ANYONE? Any libs actually believe that?

The SUPER COMMITTEE ™ supposedly has to come up with $1.5 trillion in cuts by December, what's another $475 billion between friends gonna matter. It only took two months of constant fighting and arguing to net us $7 billion in cuts over the summer, how hard could it be to find $1.975 TRILLION more?

Pass this jobs bill...what, where...there's a jobs bill, where? Oh, that's right, they need to pass the concept of a jobs bill, they can do that can't they? We'll fill in all those pesky details later. I'm sure it will be 2500 pages and create a dozen new bureaucratic agencies, we'll have to pass it to find out what's in it.

How the fuck can you people support this simpering idiot?

Again, alternative to WHAT? A fictitious plan that will simply throw another $500 billion after the first trillion they pissed away? He droned on forever and said "pass this bill" so many times that speech, I thought I was Alice in wonderland listening to complete lunacy. There IS NO BILL, just like there have been NO BUDGETS, it's vaporware, malarkey, bunko...doesn't exist.

How about we cut government by 43% and make them live with the taxes they already collect. I don't know about you, but I see way too much of my money going to the Federal government and getting pissed away on pie in the sky bullshit like this.

it's not a fictitious plan... it's a REAL plan which he's gonna draft himself and submit to congress.

the alternative to passing legislation of this nature is a worse economy. simple.

We can start with slashing defense spending, foreign aid, the drug war, and start making corporations and millionaires pay their fair share. Problem solved.
