The Azaod is having its monthly meeting Saturday at 3pm at club red in tempe. These are a great place to network with other patients. Last month there had to be at least 100 people there. When I get a chance I will update this post with the agenda, it sounds like it will be a good meeting.
the agenda
Yahoooo, members, family, and supporters of the formerly Arizona Association of Dispensaries!
Putting Patients First!
Yes, it has happened. Responding to the current climate, what you knew as Arizona Association of Dispensaries is changing its name or maybe altogether eliminating a name. What's in a name anyway ... right? If you have any suggestions, we always welcome your involvement---even activism.
Next Saturday, September 10, 3PM at Club Red , 2155 East University Drive, Tempe, AZ 85281
FREE (but donations are welcome)PATIENTS AND CAREGIVERS MEET AND NETWORK
SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS & PRIZES
• We will formally announce the First Annual Arizona Harvest Cup Awards. We have conceived a safe and legal competition for Arizona's cultivating patients and caregivers. AZ Med Testing has generously sponsored potency, pesticide, and pathogen testing on all the entries. There will be NO entry fee. Besides lab testing, we will present micrographs of each sample showing the development of the head cells and other leaf and floral structures. AZ Med Testing is donating trophies shaped as THC/CBD molecules. AZ Med Testing will edify us with a featured presentation at the meeting. This is your opportunity to see where you stand among your peers, an opportunity to enhance the safety and quality of your medicine---at NO charge!
• AZ Med Testing will discuss potency, pesticide, and pathogen testing and their special discount and bulk pricing for friends and family of formerly AzAOD. This is also your opportunity to ask technical questions and to thank them for their sponsorship.
• We are announcing the details of the First Annual Canna Kush Girl Contest in October by CAMP 420 and jointly [pun intended] sponsored by Formerly AZAOD, Phoenix NORML, Highern Chef, and others. This will be a spectacular party. Consider volunteering for this one.
• We will have member advertising, equipment booths and informational handouts on display from the membership. The Hydro Closet has promised a presentation of growing tips, equipment demos, discounted pricing, and a raffle donation. Other membership displays and presentations are pending.
• We will describe recent efforts to assist needy patients with formation of a Medicine Bank.
PATIENT AND CAREGIVER UPDATES
• We will discuss how, when and where a patient is legally allowed to interact with their caregiver and how to avoid entrapment by public servants with badges and machine guns.
• The Private Club scene is a growing phenomenon and caregiver members in the audience will reach out to new and needy patients and fill you in.
• Our members will address Sheriff Arpaio's latest diktat, AzDHS Director Will Humble's latest attack on doctors, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisor's action, and the court's refusal to give a summary injunction to Governor Brewer and Attorney General Tom Horne.
• Thanks to donations we will finish our get together with a Raffle and Socializing.
Please come on over Saturday afternoon and hang out in the cool and comfy ambience of Club Red in Tempe. Feel free to visit and have a cool drink, med out and listen to some very informed individuals convey to you what they have been learning
As a courtesy to Club Red, please be out of the building by 5PM. Thank you Club Red for having us!
