HI THERE I AM LOOKING TO BUY A 250W CFL FOR MY AUTOFLOWERS, ON EBAY THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT TYPES 1 IS A RED AND 1 IS A BLUE CAN SOME ONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS FOR ME IF POSS AS IM NOT REALLY THAT CLUED UP ON LIGHTS, I AM USING A 600W AT MOMENT FOR 2 WEEK OLD LADIES WHICH ARE NOT EVEN DOING THAT WELL, THE EXPENSE TO RUN IT AND I AM MOVING HOME IN NEXT WEEK SO IT WILL BE EASIER TO HIDE A LITTLE CUPBOARD WITH A 250W IN THAN A 1.5M TENT WITH A 600 IN.

IF ANYONE COULD SUGGEST THE BEST FOR MY NEEDS I WOULD BE GRATEFULL CHEERS:mrgreen:

Get the red one which is like around 2700k since their autoflowers

But that 250 will put off some heat also my man , i use to have 2 of them , the 2700k and the 6500 and they got hotter then what i had expected

Dude get a 250 HPS instead..well worth it and no extra heat

edit..get a duel spectrum,best of both worlds.
Thats what i ended up doing , i got rid of those big ass cfls

I got the 150hps that ebay had from htgsupply and i got better results from the 150 then the 250 cfl

I think that's a train a lot of us rode. I started with over 400w of T5s and T8s, then went to a 250w HPS. Using an air cooled hood my temps dropped and my yield went up. This grow I've bumped up to a 400w HPS using the same hood and have still kept the temps in check.
