I've been trying to get a sativa that will grow well outdoors here... I don't want somethig so crossed with indica its like AK47... more like a mdidleground cross that still keeps the sanctity of the sativa, that would grow decently outside without getting too stressed.

my desert valley haze was great as far as ssativas go, but it can't handle stress and tends to hermie, so I'm gonna have to find something else...

all responses are appreciated.

blue dream was the last strain I was hoping to hear... that's more of a split down the middle hybrid that I've already been breeding.....

but no, I really don't think many strains fit that bill... I mean strains that grow hella well and have a serious sativa high, not just a subtle energy like blue dream, but a serious real deal sativa high ya know.

I have some true sativa seeds I"m gonna try next year but I don't have high hopes as the area I live is a high desert, gets very hot and dry, sativas don't really like the dry heat.

and I've smoked phenos of blue dream that looked like that, hella thin leafed and shit, and still had a hella hybrid high....... too much hybrid stuff in blue dream for a worthy sativa imo....'

and honestly, that isn't a very sativa pheno, look how dense the growth is, even if the leaves are thin, sativas don't grow that dense.

well, my buddy grew a good variety of sativa that we crossed with a blue dream male, chocolope, supercantelope, and C13.... I'm probably gonna try growing the chocolope next year andhopefully a sativa high will come out of that...

but I just figured it would be wise of me to query this with the online community so I can see what's currently out there... doesn't seem like very many new sativa hybrids have came out in a while...

I just ordered my first seeds this year, i always grew local strains around here for the past 20 years. I don't know if i have ever smoked a sativa and i'd like to try one. Can you suggest a good for inside this winter, that will give me that sativa high.

id go ahead a recommend a lot of the sensi seeds outdoor sativa strains. ive had killler results with flying dutchman and sensi seeds. suuuuper vigorous, very hardy to cold (i live in canada, so im guessing you have the opposite problem) bugs and other shit. good plants for breeding.
they have a looot of skunk crosses and skunk plants can take some serious shit. check out the sativa doms.
id recommend up front in the sativa section, durban (now theres a strong ass outdoor strain, i think its also their purest sativa), fruity juice, silver haze 9 and the list goes on. id also have to say frisian dew by dutch passion blew me the fuck away. iunno if its a sativa dom butdefinately worth looking into

look for hazes. I'd also try strains that have thai in them, such as chocolope and supercantelope.. I don't know specifically WHAT strain will produce a great sativa high, Ij ust know that those few I just mentioned have a great potential to do it.

thanks again seriously this is an epic post.

I have to worry about cold too, probably not as much as you, but in october we hit freezing temperatures at night.

I'll definitely look into sensi seeds, and flying dutchman, thanks bro.

still keeping my eyes out for any other responses!

fuck feminized genetics!!!

I honestly wish feminized genetics never existed... as a breeder they represent a huge headache to me, if I accidently breed one into my stock that stock is essentially useless to me because of the potential for hermaphroditing... bah fuck feminized !! ;)

I'm all ears for any recommended sativa dominant indoor strains, I'll be ordering in 2 weeks. I've heard and seen good results with Sensi. I'll probably wind up with skunk 1 for the simple reason it's old school genetics as opposed to the THOUSANDS of whatever crosses out there. That, and nobody grows skunk around these parts anymore, I can't even buy it illegally...lol.

My best strain came from a mother I intentionally self-pollinated. Her beans produced 80% straight female with no hermaphrodite characteristics and 20% straight male. However, I think this might be the exception rather than the rule.

i used them this year outside and was 50 for 50 on females, with no hermies.
still feminized genetics were created for amateur growers, any grower worth their shit shouldn't fuck around with feminized genetics because the hermie trait is only a stressed day away in just about all feminized genetics (I don't care how stable they get it, it's still there...)

so sensi seeds does ship to the US???

No, I checked their site...they only supply through distributors such as attitude/everybodydoesit etc. I'm ordering regular beans anyways b/c I have sex with plants...haha...I sex them anyways.
