Not only that, but I've told you that before in other posts when you continue to harass even before I was assigned as a moderator.

Glass came long after growing and posting journals here. If you can look in that journal and count the money that I've spent in that room, and then count the number of RIU posters who have my glass, you'd be surprised to see that I've sold less than 10 pipes in total to RIU members. And if that hard earned few hundred dollars versus the near ten thousand dollars spent on the hobby so far is the reason I'm here, and the reason for your negativity, you really need to suppress that or move on.

But now you've turned the thread about why there are new moderators to personal attacks. Can we please stop this once and for all? I dont do anything to cause you grief, please return the favor.

I dont know of a rule saying mods cant be invisible. You should just assume that we're always here and always watching. (we are :)). I also dont see how whether or not a mod is invisible or not while browsing the world wide web has any impact on anything here whatsoever. If you have to check that a moderator is online or offline in order to impact your posts, you shouldnt be posting what your posting probably! :)


Keep in mind, moderators are moderators of a specific subforum. We arent global police (nor do we want to be!). I cant delete your posts here, modify them, or moderate THIS subforum at all. Most of the mods cant. Only the ones assigned to it. We arent here to change content, we arent here to delete posts, we arent here to troll, we're here for one reason and one reason only, to make sure that people here are respectful and helpful to each other, nothing more. We're normal people, just like you.

If someone doesnt like the rules, and wants to make threads about how we suck and what a piece of shit the site is, well, leave. Nobody wants people like that here. Remember, anyone can feel free to relay any concerns to the site owners as well if you think there's something wrong that needs fixing as well! Most of the time moderators will be invisible and you wont even notice all of the work that goes on behind the scenes. You should see the number of deleted posts from trolls, racism, spam, DMT sellers, everything.

I cant imagine I've typed anything here that is more than common sense and what is already expected on rollitup.org, most standard forums have a team of moderators to keep the site together. If you want viagra ads, find an unmoderated forum. Penis pumps too perhaps. They love to spam us!

Ahh i knew reading that 80 page thread would pay off :-D from what i can recall you even stopped selling to fellow riuers. For a while due to some bull shit.

There do seem to be a huge number, i no longer even know who the mods are. If it works, then cool, i've no issue with that, but well, i've already been trolled and insulted by one of em, seems few of em actually have the integrity to act impartial and well, like a mod. Me thinks something more than a simple "who wants to be a mod" thread should have been sued when selecting them. I turned down the offer as i'm fully aware that after a few drinks i'm not someone who should be representing the site in an official capacity :lol: oh good lord no :D
