Thats what I'm sayin.....but the skymall shit was hilarious. I know one thing for sure, there was atleast two planes full of people not willing to stand up for their right to live.
I would take a few razor blade slashes if it means I can go ape-shit on that towel head. Its funny, they always hated America, they hijacked planes and killed three thousand people, and now they are writing articles about how unfair America is to judge them and assume they are all terrorists. Isn't human nature to learn from mistakes? yes. letting a towel head take to controls was a MISTAKE.

s.o.p. was to not fuck with the hijackers so that no one dies or to minimize deaths. and it usually worked.

...........and before 9/11 no hijacker had ever used loaded jumbo jets as missiles. This was an unprecedented incident and the vast majority of people who get on a plane knew to just sit quietly and not be a hero if their plane were ever hijacked. Nowadays???? I doubt ANYONE will ever sit quietly during an attempted hijacking again!

I am actually 11.5 thank you. It wasn't about being a hero, it was about two towel heads trying to take control. It only takes two American's to take out two towel heads. In a plane of 50+ people, someone should have stepped up. Some say ninety three was shot down, but it sounds like they just fought for their lives.

The first 3 planes didn't have a clue what was about to go down. The passengers on 93 talked to loved ones and got the heads up. When they realized they weren't gonna make it out of this alive they fought back. Had the other 3 planes gotten warning about what was about to happen like flight 93 did, I think this conversation would be entirely different.

I think there's little doubt they knew. There are voice recordings of phone calls between passengers and loved ones on the ground. Now, I don't buy into ALL the Hollywood hype about what happened. I'm pretty sure some of those things were exaggerated for dramatic effect, but I don't think there's any doubt that they found out what was going down and rushed the hijackers.

i've heard of joy riding but damn. but i understand where your coming from if some iraqi hijacked a plane and threatened to bomb you if you moved or did anything your fucked either way try to over run them.I would have have fought the hijackers regardless.

Historically, hijackers would hijack a plane full of people and order the plane to fly to Algeria or Libya or some other "terrorist friendly" nation, where they would usually demand the release of one of their jailed leaders or else they would blow up the plane with everyone onboard. In the past, fighting the hijackers would've normally been an automatic death sentence. If you just behaved and kept your blindfold on, you usually got to live.I would have have fought the hijackers regardless.
