I don't store my smoke in bags, but they're good for curing. It's a lot easier opening up and re-closing bags several times a day than dozens of jars.
For storing, I use quart jars vacuum sealed with one of these little gems:

Hook the thingy to a Foodsaver machine, put the lid on the jar, put the thingy over the lid, suck all the air out, pop it off and then screw the ring on. I swear it's the greatest invention ever, and I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. Crack open a jar a year later, and the buds smell exactly like they did when you put them up. Love it.
