I don't agree with this man's view on the Keynesian model but I do understand Obama's action don't fall completely under the Keynesian model because he deosn't spend enough. Go figure, at least this guy realizes the FED is bad. I might like this guy for his morals. We shall see what google unearths..

Kucinich didn't have a bad solution to fixing the Fed - by putting it under control of the US treasury the central bank would make it more effective at serving it's dual mandate. As of now, there are too many dissenting voices within the fed that serve the interest of the banking industry at the expense of the people... Which is why the Fed has been so timid in it's role with the economy.

I've always said more transparency and accountability is needed within the Federal reserve; My opposition has always been to ending the Fed, putting it under control of congress, or going back onto a gold standard.

Where are you buying bread from? The average cost of a loaf of bread around here is $2 and over, your lucky to find a loaf for $1.50 on sale unless we are talking about the white white bread made from tons of processed crap.

Where I live the cheap bread is still 99 cents a loaf... I usually do the 2 for $5 deal on bread but I always get the expensive stuff with oats and shit in it and it's pretty much always been 2 for $5.

Check the weight of your $.99 Bread. Does it weigh the same amount as the $3 bread? Is it made from the same ingredients? Have you noticed any difference in your weekly grocery bill at all over the last 10 years? Or do you not keep old grocery receipts so you can compare?
There will always be $.99 bread, but 10 years from now it will probably be half the size it is now. I have noticed many products are the same price but have less product in them. Deceptive marketing. Paying the same for less is no different than paying more for the same.

Uhmm yeah its the same pound and a half loaf of sliced white bread I eat everyday. I can buy the ALDI's or Pick and save bread or spend 3 bucks on sarah lee. Tastes the same to me

i have noticed that with some products, where the quality seems to deteriorate. i stop buying those things.
bread i use pretty sparingly. if i am going to make grilled cheese, i buy the expensive loaf ($2.29 or so) that grills up better and has all the grains in it. but for utilitarian purposes (hot dogs, sandwiches, burger) i use the cheap bread.22.5 oz (1 lb 6.5 oz, not quite 1.5 pounds)
i just looked and there are different ingredients, the only preservatives or bad seeming shit listed on mine but not hers were the last two: calcium propionate and ammonium sulfate.
