Insurance is the problem
I think hospitals are also non profits, that's also a problem but maybe a little off topic..
You should not have insurance or not having insurance should be a common reasonable option, doctors should be working for 'Dollars" and patients should be paying themselves on the day of there visit just like they do at McDonalds when they get a double quarter pounder and large fries...

Yes because every day working Americans can afford hundreds of thousands of dollars for chemotherapy treatments and surgery.

Why is it so expensive?
If it costs hundreds of thousands who is paying for it if not 'Americans"? who pays for it? how do they get the hundreds of thousands to cover all the people getting chemo right now?
 
I'm latino, and all I know is the Republicans and the Tea Party have pretty much ignored us from the start this election. They aren't even lying to us this year lol. I don't care what sock puppet conveniently colored or conveniently soft on immigration they get as they running mate. I'm not voting for em unless the get someone else who's a little more realistic and compassionate to the situation at hand. And if they think they can ignore the latino vote and still get elected, they have another thing coming.

Right now their is a bipartisan bill on hold (Graham/(forgot the democrats name) Republicans wont put it to a vote because they are counting on the xenophobe and racist vote as their basein 2012. After the 2012 election no matter how it goes immigration reform will be on the table
 
Bob Turner just won election running on the idea that immigration doesn't need to be reformed, just enforced. I think its funny how the louder America speaks, the more pissed off liberal democrats get. Republicans will not win election in 2012 saying they "want to work with Obama". The best way for a republican to win office isto repuke Obama, and say they want to defeat him.

People don't want to pay for me to work on thier home because of the insane cost of permits and city inspector's. (People who take a piece of the pie filling out a check off sheet.) People who take money offering no services or goods in return is yet another reason why people don't invest........

my dad doesn't have any problem getting work despite all these ONEROUS REGULATIONS and BURDENSOME COSTS, so perhaps the problem lies elsewhere.

they make sure you are doing things up to code. if you despise them so much, then do jobs under the table without permits. see how far you get.
