I believe you guys had some dispensaries, but they cracked down this year pretty hard. I'm not too informed on the subject though, as I am in WW.

Whats up with the southerners? Any clark/cowlitz county folks on RIU? Its kinda shady down here......no clubs, no storefronts, no social events. Just a bunch of tweekers who are absolutely content with smoking 2 year old resin!! WTF?
We need to get organized asap........
Also, have any of you guys had any experiences with the farmers markets in the Seattle area? How is the atmosphere? How are things in regard to vending?
Cheers =)

There was apparently an event last night in south seattle that was strictly a cannabis "farmers" market; this is so far the only event I have heard of where weed is the focus of purchase and distribution. If you're asking about the Fremont Market or Ballard Market, University Market, or heaven forbid, the Pike Place Market, they'er farmers' markets and they sell organic veggies, meats, baked goods...You may see some local glass vendors, but not many, and no open exchange of ganja for the other green friend, as it were.
To be helpful, I would suggest that if you were planning on touring the markets anyway, re-plan your day and take a tour of cooperatives. This is fun, you get to sign up at each of them, sample their medicine, talk to the folks who are a part of the co-ops and assess for yourself which you like the most. Happy hunting!

I am afraid that I am biased to Herbal Healing (15th and 80th in Ballard); the owners are extremely caring, help me constantly with my growing by offering practical advice, great medicine with reasonable donations accepted. I have been to several, and as they were all kind enough to accept my membership and offer medicine in very hospitable and safe environments, I will not degrade any of them; I will highlight one in Wallingford (forget the name, but it's in the Tallman building) - outstanding medicine, knowledgeable staff, very reasonable donations accepted.

Sorry to blabber on, but one last comment: I personally hunt for Sativa dominant bud, while a friend of mine seeks Indica; we do not agree on the best co-op because each has something unique to offer. This is ultimately why I think touring them is great fun. I'm an avid wino as well, and my girl and I love to go wine tasting - it's very similar in my humble opinion.

I agree with you about the wine tasting. I'm an Indica seeker, like your friend. Also, thanks for the info on the dispensaries, I still need to take the trip down to the city and make the tour. Living in Snohomish County, especially as far north as I am, I'm limited to delivery only. I've tried a few out, and like you, I can't say I have any complaints so far. My favorite is Therapeutic Health Center(They're not so popular, but very good medicine and the owner seems very down to earth) so far, really nice people there, but again, no bad experiences with any of them yet.

I actually ran across one in mukilteo across the post office, called patient 2 patient. their meds are a little spendy, but the owner is a good guy. Apparently there's another one somewhere in mukilteo too

Another 1 from Kitsap County here. No dispensaries in this County (at least that aren't underground) but several to choose from in Tacoma or Belfair.

Walla Walla. I never go to dispensaries. For one thing we don't have any good ones around here AFAIK. I grow outdoors and in my greenhouse. I've found A. Cannabis de Espana seem to go well with my Walla Walla terroir. Faves right now are from ACE, but I've had good luck with Cannabiogen, Kannabia and Dinfem. Anybody who tells you Eastern WA can't do primo outdoor sativa grows is just ignorant.
Also, did you know there is a really fast growing Argentine cannabis culture? They grow out these Spanish strains really well around Mendoza and Salta. Argentine culture is such that what a man does in his own house is his business. I had a very pleasant Guatamalan (?) at Salta. IMHO Argentina could do a legal cannabis tourism better than anywhere.

it wasnt the clinics closing that suched. they are opening back up. it was the city itself. it is literally a piece of shit city. theres dog shit everywhere, meth heads,spoon goons, h heads. its a city where every house is right besid eachother and right behind another, all equal in size shape ect. until you get to south side. where its all the well off people and the roads actually wont stay straight for nothing. unlike north town. people in boxes. south side is fantastic for the way it looks. still west side is allot better. never did i have such a shitty marijuana experience like i had while living near north town.

Just seeing how many Active Washington patients we have here. Seems like it is slow compared to the other states.

small grower self sufficient, someplace in the PNW near seattle, wondering what to do with the extras.

latest playing with Sativa dominant Selene, sorting out the phenos
