Of course it should be legal. All the negatives associated with prostitution are reduced when it is legalized, which it is in more countries than you would think. Just because a person thinks its wrong to do it isn't just cause to make it illegal, a person needs to examine wjether the harm caused by it is reduced or increased by keeping it illegal. This is a situation of concenting adults... How can you criminalize it? In my oppinion it is an example of oppression keeping it illegal. You might at this point assume I'm a whore hound, I'm not. How it is done in other countries is all men wear condoms, all prostitutes recieve regular MEDICAL examinations, taxes are paid, health insurance is recieved. Rates of std's are reduced, as does rape as said befor. I'll bet it even contributes to stronger marital situations as sneaking around with secret RELATIONSHIPS is the most dangerous thing to a marriage.
