Scrog vs LST

Have a small question and scrog and LST. Can LST be use in conjunction with scrogging or is it a totally different system? Alot of thread i've read on here insist that scrog is the best way to maximize your yield if growing 1-4 plants in a grow tent. Do most people agree with this or is LST a better way to go?

Scrog is just another form of lst

on my next grow I plan to scrog (lst) and top my plants (hst) to help fill out the screen.
From what I understand scrog is basically the most effective and complete form of LST

I usually top and LST cause my 250 watter is not much of a penetrator. Using a screen would be even more efficient, but I am too lazy for that so far. SCROG is used in conjunction with LST as yu have to manually bend and fit the branches into designated screens.

LST is some times used befor you put the screen in for a scrog it makes the plants wider with more bud sites emerge which is good for a scrog but lst can give really goods results with out a scrog its down to what suits you best

This is exactly what im doing in my current grow. I have a small screen covering the top of my pot to assist with lst(the soil is about 2" below top of pot)and help spread out the tops and then a screen covering the entire width of my box about 6" above my pot. Ive never done this before, somewhat of an experiment, but seems like it was a good idea?
