Hello guys,
can you tell me whats up with this little fella?
Am I overwatering it?
And what about the crack on the little right leaf?

I had been watering it even if soil was a little bit moist, maybe I need to water it when it's really dry?

thx in advance

I've been told by numerous people here that you should only water if you can put your finger into the top 2"-3" and stay dry.

when it a tiny seedling the amount of moisture in the soil is plenty for quite some time, just don't let the soil dry out totally like others have said
if you fully watered until the water just started coming out of the drainage holes so the soil is evenly wet all the way through, it should be good for 5-7 days easy, i would only water a seedling like that every 5 days to 1 week .. but of course it depends on how hot the environment its in
as the soil will dry out much faster in a hot room :)

i cut out the bottom of jiffy pots, still haven't transplanted them into bigger pots, i can do that only in this weekend, some space issues going on.
and about watering, if i stick my finger into soil, i feel it's a bit cold and just a little bit moist, my finger is just really slightly moist, do i need to water or i need to wait till it dries out totally? i think that one will be bad too right?

i watered them a little bit today in the morning, just 50ml of water, because soil was dry. even the bottom of the soil was dry, maybe i have too much perlite and this is underwatering?

you should water the soil completely by pouring water in evenly until it runs out the bottom, that way the soil is wet all the way through right to the bottom of the pots

by feeding small amounts of water at the top daily or every other day you are not evenly soaking the soil just making the top layer wet

learn how much water is in your pots by how much they weigh, i found this the best method, you can judge pretty well how much water is in the pot by its weight
as you know the weight when bone dry etc you can pick up a pot and feel its weight and know if it needs watering or not

Most of us are supplied water by the city and some cities add more chemicals to the water than others. They all add chlorine, however, in varying quantities. Humans over the years have learned to either get rid of it somehow or to live with it, but your cannabis plants won't have time to acquire a taste for it so you had better see that they don't have to.

Chlorine will evaporate if you let the water stand for 24 hours in an open container. Letting the water stand for a day or two will serve a dual purpose: The water will come to room temperature during that period of time and you can avoid the nasty shock your plants suffer when you drench them with cold water. Always water with room temperature to lukewarm water. If your water has an excessive amount of chlorine in it, you may want to get some anti- chlorine drops at the local fish or pet store. The most important thing about watering is to do it thoroughly. You can water a plant in a three gallon container with as much as three quarts of
water. The idea is to get the soil evenly moist all the way to the bottom of the cannabis.

If you use a little water, even if you do it often, it seeps just a short way down into the soil and any roots below the moist soil will start to turn upwards toward the water.

The second most important thing about watering is to see to it that the cannabis has good drainage. There should be some holes in the bottom so that any excess water will run out. If the cannabis won't drain, the excess water will accumulate in a pocket and rot the roots of the plant or simply make the soil sour or mildew. The soil, as we said earlier, must allow the water to drain evenly through it and must not become hard or packed.

If you have made sure that the soil contains sand and perlite, you shouldn't have drainage problems. To discover when to water, feel the soil with your finger. if you feel moisture in the soil, you can wait a day or two to water. The soil near the top of the cannabis is always drier than the soil further down.

You can drown your plant just as easily as you can let it get too dry and it is more likely to survive a dry spell than it is to survive a torrential flood. Water the plants well when you water and don't water them at all when they don't need it.

thanks for replies, they are in 8cm jiffy pots like these - http://www.edensupplies.co.uk/garden_shop/images/8cm peat free coir jiffy pot.jpg
And i gave them 50ml water each day now.
it's always about 50% humidity and around 24 degrees celsius.
You are watering it too often, period. I water my soil plants every three days, and they HUGE compared to what you have there.

Leave it alone for 2 days at least, post new pics. When you are new, this is sometimes an anxious thing to learn how to do....

With cannabis, it's better to underwater than overwater, because the plant will tell you it needs moisture very obviously and you can just water it. Also, like it has been mentioned, let your water evaporate off the chlorine before you give it to such a young plant.

I love cutting my soil with perlite for added drainage. Also, I haven't seen you mention ph? Make sure whenever you feed your plants, your water/nutrient solution is between 6.3 and 6.eight

Along with controlling water, also making sure if you using tap water boiling it and resting it for a day works best.
Mine had this experience and she was totally fine when used the right water.
