Recently I've been reading a lot about the effects ruderalis strains can have on bud if the right type of ruderalis is used. I just want to know if anyone has any knowledge as to which ruderalis is fit to be my babies daddy and if there are pure seeds avalible anywhere

Are u looking to flower outside or inside? I know a person who use's a cross of big bud and Ruderalis for outside, and I have used a ruderalis cross indica ( not sure of it's genotype) but it has been continuously improved for 29 years now. this strain I have works awsome inside!!!! But the one my friend uses' sit's dormat under 600HPS so as a note skeptic about what u buy! Try the seed banks in B.C becuase thats were he gets his stuff.. Sometimes u need to ask and see if they have soemthing that is not perfected and see what they will give u......

right on man, essentially i grow indoors, my outdoor grows the past 3 years have all got worked by the elements

im trying to get an autoflower that grows more like a regular plant than a lowryder. i got this strain called 'chronic' from morpheus seed from barrie; it's skunk x, northern lights, and ak47 all thrown together. If i can get a clone from one of the females i intend on breeding it with a ruderalis. Vancouver is way across the country though im sketchy about mail services

Hey I have growing the Chronic strain as well and it seems to be a decent plant to grow. Although I came accross this hashX something and WOW, it sure produced.. I - was getting in one room under 8-1000W around 10LBS so that makes me pretty happy. But the downsside of the plant is that the lower laterals steam up and become hard to support themselves on the stock of the plant and they tend to brake down when u get bud or when they strart to receive little light

what is a ruderalis?

What is Ruderalis?

Cannabis Ruderalis is a subspecies of Cannabis Sativa. The term was originally used in the former Soviet Union to describe the varieties of hemp that had escaped cultivation and adapted to the surrounding region.

Similar Ruderalis populations can be found in most of the areas where hemp cultivation was once prevalent. The most notable region in North America is the midwest, though populations occur sporadically throughout the United States and Canada. Without the human hand aiding in selection, these plants have lost many of the traits they were originally selected for, and have acclimatized to their locale.

Though they contain little THC, these plants hold large potential for use in breeding, both in hemp and marijuana applications. Early flowering and resistance to locally significant insect and disease pressures are but a few of the important traits present in these feral populations.
