Yeah, pretty much. I got offered a deal I couldn't refuse on a fixture and ballast, and my girls are really starting to push the limits of my box. I vegged for a little too long this time. Looking to prepare a new space within the week, and probably have the girls moved in there whether the bulb gets there in time or not. If I have to keep the area lit with CFL's while I wait, then so be it.

You know how it is, height is a big concern


And really, it's not going to be anything too fancy. I'm thinking a 6'x42"x24" space. Should basically be what I have now, but a little bigger, and a lot taller.

Hm. So you will be switching to hid? That is exciting. And those dimensions are just a little smaller than what I'm working with (in height only). It'll get pretty warm in there, but with a 600w, you're not gonna need the level of heat removal I need.

I can hardly wait to see you transition over. I've said time and again that I have trouble believing your good results using cfl's only, but you will see a level of bud development you weren't seeing before. Best!

We're excited, because we know that lighting will affect yield and quality. 2 things you can never have enough of ;)

(Also, some of this CFL grown stuff is pretty damn tasty.)

So, since there's an interest in how things are going, I'll share some pics from the last few days.

Here's a view from a few days ago

Here's 3 of the girls I acquired from Twodeff. They're kinda in limbo for the moment, with me in transition, they're getting the best I can give them for the moment... Need to slow them down a bit anyway... No room in the current flower chamber - Querkle, Darkstar, and White Widow. I have 2 flowering clones in there as well (great work with them TD!) LSD and Pot Of Gold


A few views of the veg space -


Currently have Buku, 2 purple bagseed, MTF, 2 Big Band, Afghooey, NW PEZ, Iced Grapefruit, and another bagseed called "Johnny" (some of the best shit we've smoked)

And here's a few bud shots. Nothing amazing, but you know how it goes, it's almost like a fine wine or cheese. Gets better with age






Not much else, quickly running out of space, though. Which can be seen in the first 2 pics.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, I could nurse some of the little guys for you...like LSD, Darkstar :shock: lol...really though, let me know if you need some help, I have been doing a little housekeeping here....not much space for bigger girls but some smaller girls... maybe.

Well, as soon as I rearrange, things will be good. I plan on using my existing flower/clone space as the new veg/clone space.

Things are cramped and SHOVED in there, but I know it's for the greater good. I had to do a watering and rearranged again. Can't fucking wait until everything's rearranged.

I'm actually really excited about the POG and LSD. I've always wanted to do Flowering clones, but never got the technique quite right (until recently) I can't wait for them to really push out and show their branchyness!

Were they being flowered to show sex, or just wanting some small plants/buds?
No clones from clones :sad:

I think it was more of a situation where he lollipopped his plants and didn't want to waste good plant material. Twodeff has his plants fimmed and trained, no lower canopy, all upper.

No clones from clones? I'm not sure I understand that statement (text, and all...)

I just meant, if they are small clones, and too far into bud....I doubt you will be taking any cuttings from them. I have taken clones in flower before, but it takes a long time for them to turn around.

The flowering clones are in this picture -

They're the ones in white/cream pots in the back of the space.

I'm not sure how long it takes him to get them to veg again. If memory serves, it took him about a month to get them properly rooted.

I'll get some better pictures of them to highlight their growth. There's definitely some upward growth on them. Totally excited.
