just a few question (sorry if this is noobish or the wrong place to post this)

im new to this whole forum thing so sorry if these questions have been asked

this is not the 1st time growing but i want to try something new and. i havnt got a whole lot of experience but i know a tiny bit. i had tryed outdoor once and didnt like my results being pretty long but wasnt bad i wanted todo this again but the plantation that was hiding them had been cut down but luckily i had a growing lamp/light so decided to grow indoor. i want to play around with the shape of the plants this time since i dont smoke that often at all anymore so i need some suggestions/methods this all im looking for is a nice even bushy plant was thinking of topping it but i have never trimmed a plant be4 so not to sure where to cut and the dangers of doing this. im sorry about this long thread but thanks for any info =] p.s my seeds are nothing special ann my plants have just sprouted

I'm not sure what you are asking. Did you want recommendations for an MJ strain that grows low and bushy or did you want to know about topping.

Indica plants are almost always low and bushy.

There are a number of articles in this forum on topping and related subjects. It's not very hard. However, if you pick a suitable strain it may not be necessary at all

for bushy, i go with tieing them down. search for Low stress training.
99% of the questions you have are easily found by using google! the folks here will definately help you but seriously, every question you'll ever have has been answered a bunch of times on the net.

I like to Lst more, I don't lose any growth that way. Something about cutting them just feels wrong (Not saying topping isn't good)!

i have 10 clones. i'm going to top a few per ben's thread and tie a few down per usual. it will be interesting to see how much weight each produces! i'm thinking it will be about the same for either method.

I've been topping and doing LST or mini scrogs but now I am going vertical with freestanding plants and I think I will need a lot less of that.

Yeah, the quads look really tasty.

I've only worked with lolipops and Christmas trees, so topping will be interesting. Especially if it is as predictable as what UB describes. If the two methods result in simillar yields I would probably tend toward topping. I do want to experiment with lst but if I can accomplish the same results with less manipulation I'd happily spend the free time oiling them up (neem), just sitting with em, or lurking around here. There are tons of things that I'd eventually like to try.
