Trying being the parent...Its all well and good to say, "stop that babies screaming." Tell you what, have one and tell me how that works for you. When people are successful, we normally here about it as the mother who murdered her child, and we're all about executing her.

and while you may whine about it now, you were once that baby that wouldn't shut the fuck up.

EDIT: the 'shut the fuck up' part wasn't any anger towards you, it was the maddening anger that arose and the memory of when my daughter was that young and all that should have shut her up didn't work. †L†

I find that when they cry and wont stop just give them a bottle or hold them. change there diaper or put them to sleep. sum people just dont get it tho and wonder why they are crying lol

Thats what I'm talking about though. When you've fed them, burped them, changed them, and they still cry. Hold them, still cry. But chances are at that point its because their fitty that their tired, so your just waiting for them to finally pass out.

yeah I have been lucky. both my kids only cryed when they needed sumthing then they stop. but i know what you are talking about. i have had nights where you stay up all damn night not one wink of sleep holding your baby cause hes sick, standing in the shower with him to help him breath better. I chalk those up to being a gud dad.

i don't nkow but this isn't a baby friendly neighborhood. it's mostly gay and young unmarried couples and singles. maybe it's time for them to move out of the city.

Agree'd, babies mean its time to grow up and get into a stable environment. Make something of yourself if you haven't already and raise the kid properly. As far as discipline goes, I think it depends on the child. They have to be old enough to know why you spanked them or slapped their hand away from grabbing something and what not. Also, some kids are very well behaved and don't really need spankings. A lot of kids do however, and it just pisses me off that people just let their kid do whatever. They do the whole "ONE ...... TWO ..... I SWEAR IF I GET TO THREE YOU ARE IN TROUBLE!" .... then three never comes and they are like "Oh well, I tried". Such bull shit.

I say whip your children into shape. Otherwise they will have the mentality that there is no consequences for their actions, alls mom or dad will do is start counting ..... ooooooooooo so scary! I'm about to be a daddy, the wife and I are having a boy in February, and yes, I will be beating the crap out of that kid if he needs it :D

no, it's not a gay couple. it's mexicans. sorry to state their race if that's un-PC. you don't understand the neighborhood. i live in a transitional neighborhood so one side of the street is gay and couples, the other side is mexicans, russians and strippers. that about sums it up. but unfortunately i live a building down a long driveway in the city and i back up to the mexican's apartment. i have russians on the other side but they are no trouble because they're older. we are split between a fence but i can hear them and see a little.

i didn't see that movie. what's it called?

damn that nieghborhood sounds like a blast. the movie is called bruno just thought of it. its kinda stupid but i thought parts were funny

i hated the belt it was so degrading. Oh yeah, I was a very proud child (get it from my dad), it was devastating, but not realy becasue I got hurt, because I got caught.
