Clones in 12/12

Hello,
So, I'm about ready to take a new set of clones to sex and I am rushed for time. Usually I let my rooted clones go for about a week to week and half once transplanted before initiating 12/12.... this time I was wondering, would it hurt to put a rooted clone, just transplanted, directly into 12/12 or will it shock them too bad in addition to transplant shock?
Thanks in advance!

I don't think it would hurt them, but I do not understand why you want to do this. Clones shouldn't have to be sexed because they carry the same genetic information

One experienced grower here gives the clones a day or two to stabilize and then starts 12/12.

I would wait until I saw signs that the plant was actively growing before flowering it.

Yup I agree, u gotta let the girl get a grip in her new home after rooting and than trick her to flower. I know some hydro people usually let them adjust 1 week into their new beds and than flower. Good idea flowering the next generation rather than the seeds. I love clones :)
Oddly, why u flower a clone to determine sex?? Are u not sure about the mothers u cloned from?

Oh yeah, @ JL and zvuv... Thanks for the input, I guess I'll just wait a few days. I'm in a time crunch so I thought I would ask.

I have found that if you are very careful with the transplant, manage not to disturb the roots and use a pot to make a matching impression in the new soil, they hardly show any sign of slowing down at all.

Very true, u wonder if there is transplant shock when you practice this same transplanting methods.. Best luck with the girls, remember to check several laterals not just the stock.. 3 level up and from there!
Best luck
