ive got ice growing as we speak and to say its an impressive strain is being modest. pretty easy to grow, but the germination is kinda finiky. check my grow out in my signature. 
NIRVANA's famous ICE , and EL Dolardo , anyone know theses strains?

if you want an energizing bud from nirvana, try the full moon, PPP(sativa pheno's), maui waui. or you can look beyond nirvana, alot of great genetics out there. i grew out 10 aurora indica reg seeds, i got 7 fems 3 males and killed 2 females for weak growth, i grew out 10 regular Blue Mystics (better than aurora indica for sure) and got 6 females(all strong) and 3 crappy males and 1 really good male that smelled like berries which i used to pollinate for more seeds.

Well dude nirvana is wierd about the terms medical and white. dont pay attention to that for the most part. wonder woman is amazing and they dont consider it either medical or white thats crazy

i bought a seed of Hawaiian snow, is it the same as maui waui?
i haven't grown the El Dorado, but 1 of those strains that caught my eye, at least enough to read what i could
seems it's not easy to grow out proper, heavy on the Mexican sativa genes from what i recall
could be a great thing for those that fondly remember the Mexican weeds of old(as i do)

I have a bunch of old grow threads on RIU with Nirvana's Ice......I am currently working with a strain I call Ice Anomaly, which was a super supercrystally Ice plant crossed with Blueberry Widow male.
The Ice Anomaly is nice, but it was nothing like the regular phenos I got from Ice. The regular phenos were very sweet smelling, grew fat buds that were crystal covered, and was pretty hard hitting. I would grow Ice again in the future, for sure!

i don't like ANYTHING indica including the absolutely unnecessary skunk funk. i'll take loose fluffy columbian buds you can break apart with your fingers every time. besides, funky strains only let the neighbors know what you're up to.

columbian is STILL my fave too. it's what i started out smoking. when indicas invaded after it disappeared, didn't get me anything CLOSE to RESEMBLING high and the price doubled, i was instantly pissed. when they didn't go away and eventually SUPERIOR mexican brick did, i really started getting pissed, but then when i got online and got trolled EVERY time i matter of factly mentioned how much i despise indicrap and every greedy scumbag that's "stole it to me", i have life enemy rage against indicas as they CONTINUE to pollute the market and keep getting high a non-option. you can't even get a passable mid like skunk #1 or blueberry in parts of NY, forget anything that truly gets you high.
even though it isn't trippy, i begged & pleaded to buy kali mist for $120 for an effing eigth when i was gifted a juicy gram. even though i probably scored 3 grams worth of two different indy buds the first time i smoked indicrap for just the $8 i had on me, i was STILL pissed and wanted my money back. i don't have a problem with people that truly prefer to be stoned, but not when it means that only THEY get what they want and fuck me.
i'd rather smoke mexican brick than any indica any day! (all the better if it's seeded! heh heh heh)
if you liked gold, high quality seeds' haze x skunk ain't shabby! it's even more potent and long lasting and maybe better for tolerance, but it's missing those light floaty feelings and other sensory overload, but is still a lot of fun

Wow man, you're like an evangelist for sativas, LOL. Maybe that's weird but I'm totally baked right now. I'll have to try some haze x skunk. Probably not a lot of us "experienced" guys on here that's had the pleasures of smoking some of the best weed earth has ever seen.

no, there's a fair number of people here that know better than street beasters and i'm sure a few DIY so they can stay head stash. that's always been my motivation for fighting back, but yeah, i'm about tired of that shit pushed in my face so i push back harder. there's a slight preference to getting high by MOST people with a solid 1 in 5 wanting nothing to do with couchlock and a few less demanding pure stone, but all you see on the streets is stoner bud and not much spectacular in the way of mids. it sucks. law of supply and demand my effing waste dispenser! the market is all stone with no high anywhere because that would involve putting some love over the money in someone's gear. that, or there's a vast conspiracy to keep everyone stupid and stoned. that wouldn't surprise me with all the crap greedy scum are starting to get called on.
i wouldn't take a penny for bud i wouldn't smoke myself. cash crop is so dark ages. ANY time i've had gear that gets you high, it's never for sale. WTF is up with that? anyone in it for the money that switched gear to hazes would corner a lot of market in a lot of places where no one ever sees anything like it. it must be nice to live in mendocino though.
before you try haze skunk, you really should try TGA's jack the ripper. i won't because of the name, but that sounds like a choice haze and it's a couple weeks faster than haze skunk. i know i liked the taste i got of some lemon skunk and would think that would taste better than that cigar wrapper cheese funk taste of HxS. i'd buy that one in a heartbeat if it were only called kittens & puppies & sunshine or something not so american at least.
i've seen some happy killing fields customers as sannies has as faithful a following as TGA, but i'm most interested in trying Rokerij Seeds Amnezia Haze (SSH x cambodian!). it's really cheap and i'd rather smoke super silver haze than skunk #1 as you at least get some psychoactivity for your stone there and cambodian over haze by a little bit of haze experience and dayreaming about cambodian IBLs' rep.it sounds in the ballpark of what i wanted to do with the mekong haze i bought and got nothing for in an entire 5 pack like some other member here.
cambodian isn't common in crosses either. it ought to add a little hybrid vigor to something like a lemon skunk haze cross. the spicy description i read sounds interesting like cambodian might be closely related to the western winds that gives kali mist it's delicious crushed red pepper flavor. it sounds a lot more like what i expected kali mist to be though very clear headed and too energetic is a fun buzz for activities. slow it down a couple notches and add some visuals, and it becomes a much more agreeable 24/7 buzz. i just can't picture not liking the cross for anything and there shouldn't be a lot of couchlock left in that buzz. it'll be fun testing & having some "i got what you wish you had" headstash to taunt roll it up with.i'll be trying a few new to me strains to report on and you can bet most of them will lean from TRUE mellow but functional at worst couchlock to maybe 75% columbian gold performing something like haze skunk on weak acid. there needs to be more growing, testing & reporting on the gear half of the people would smoke at least half of the time but aren't seeing.
you can't find the IBLs much anymore and most of what's out there are knockoffs & phenos of haze brothers' original cross

Both strains are excellent at different periods of the day. I like both. But if your wanting to put a movie in and smoke at 10 at night im not lighting a fat one of sativa. I personally like the indica high. I actually feel "stoned", and relaxed. I have a purple crack and OG kush going now. Both a bit different from each other. I like to keep my options open. By the way, plenty of people have "experienced" on here. FYI :} Be safe!

Welcome ipman! You are very right about smoking late at night; I prefer indica's for sleep too, mainly because sativas just make my brain go crazy with creative thoughts that leave me awake for hours. Hazey, as with most things, it's all about the money. It takes nearly twice as long to get half as much when growing sativas. Sorry I can't write more; I've got to get to work.
