I got a few bags with fungus gnats starting around last Christmas. The couple bags I've got recently have been gnat free though.

Good news for me and anyone else who was fortunate enough to get hands on Sub's Honeymoon Mix. As with most TGA genetics, 3 out of 3 all 100% Females. These ladies were grown in 24/7 light through Veg under a 600watt HPS, no Metal Halide. Even with a lil stress I still pull out ladies with Sub's gear.
The other plants, not such a good female to male ratio. I'm real excited to finish these Honeymoon ladies. Who know's what I'm gonna get?

The Honeymoon Mix was a pack of seeds that were given out by Sub in 2010 as a result of an online contest of sorts. Alot of people won a pack by posting a TGA photo, story, or strain created using TGA genetics. 100 packs were issued.
Packs contained "..a mix of TGA genetics including some very rare seeds like Space Dawg, Dannyboy, and even some old stash beans like Lifesaver etc and even new beans like Kaboom and the Hard to get Deep Purple.
The requirements are pretty loose here because my mission here is to simply make 100 people smile."- Subcool

So there you go. A short history. Sub listed names of the winners after his wedding to Mz. Jill.
I have a pack and took the three largest seeds out of it and germ'd the 3, taproots in 24 hours. They went right into Jiffys and in a dome under my HPS.. currently they are at day 10 of flower. I will post photos soon.
It intrigues me because out of all the TGA I've grown I've really liked the lot of it. My favorites were Chernobyl, SpaceDawg, Agent Orange, Jacks CleanerII, aww damn I'm just naming the whole damn list. Lol. They're all favorites really except maybe Void II. I wasn't a huge fan of the Spicy Fuely Pheno I had. Nonetheless, they're all mostly winners. And my Honeymoon ladies really add some Mystery to the garden.

im a lil upset.. im thinking my cheesequake x qrazy train is a male... =/ ill give it a few more days before i take it down... i was hopin for a female.. still have a few seeds. soo i may start a few more soon. Don Gin has a couple in flower and they look really really nice. ive been waiting for a while to try sum of subby's extraordinary strains.. soo im a lil disappointed that it may be a male.
What do you all think about this...I recently found a dispensary selling clones of two elite strains! Well they actually had quite a few other but specifically one that I started seeds for (Raskals White Fire) and Subcools Vortex which I was seed hunting for also (closest spot was colorado beside The Attitude). This really ticks me off...considering folks like Raskal and Subcool are not seeing any compensation for this. Besides the fact that any random Joe can go scoop up a clone and then mother the plant. End Rant...

Please don't take my response for trying to start anything negative.....but isn't it a good thing if this dispensary has patients that can benefit from the genetics you listed? I know that people could buy seeds to find a nice female for themselves (and recommend that most people do) , but for med patients who are ill and need clones of a badass known female to help the ailment they have I don't see it as a bad thing at all. Everyone should be able to grow their own medicine and for some people that say, "Vortex" may benefit medically from, it would be really nice for them to be able to go grab a selected clone of Vortex, plant it in some Super Soil they had a loved one mix up....and heal themselves!!

Agreed fully wheeelman. Different genetics helps different ailments, and it shouldn't cost a patient any more money if the genetics that help them are considered "elite". Its also a shame that if a patient does need a dispensary-sourced clone....they then need to worry about PM, mites, etc.....Seeds are definitely the way to start and if any sick patients can get a good caregiver/grower to start some seeds for them then they can really select what pheno is best for them from a wider range of medicine.

Pretty cool about the honeymoon packs.
Any more contests going on this year? It's fall and almost winter here in Colorado... That means there couldn't be a better time for a contest.. This may be my lack of experience, but I have yet to find anything in comparrison to February Colorado buds. As an indoor grower, i'm soo glad the summer is behind us. Shit is about to get nasty
-and on the whole clone royalty thing.... there is a black market on the black market. There always was and always will be. Most dispensary owners I know in CO are all back door hustlers. I can say that because they're my friends and they have to make a living. I would rather pay someone who took the time to select a sick female $20 over a random cut of BigBud for $10 any day of the week. But if you're going to dispensaries to buy clones, you might want to think twice. I cant tell you how many of my overzealous friends got some form of CTDs from this. Mislabeled cuts are my favorite story though.. no permanent damage done, just waste of time..
I've never been a fan of strain hoarding whatsoever... Lots of reasons.
1. If my clones somehow fry over night... I hope my buddy is still sitting on some of those special cuts so they're not gone from this earth forever.
2. If you think you hold some kind of market leverage with your cut in a state that is soo plentiful of bud, you might want to reconsider.
3. Cannabis is made for sharing in all forms. Don't forget that folks.

Strain hoarding is just a bi-product of the normal greediness you find in anything where money is involved. When someone tries to hand me a clone, and says,"but you can't give it to anybody" I just hand it right back(and believe me, this has happened numerous times). I don't want anything with strings attached to start with, but I can't stand that attitude....it sucks! I could really get ranting on the greed issue, so I'll shut up too.

Seeds RULE!!! MMJC's will NEVER leave they're fire out on a shelf for someone like you or me, master cloners and growers (haha), to get a hold of and flood the market with!!! Buncha Zake Birds!!! So I was playing this qrushberry video over and over again (you guys know how much I love the plush and the qt), hoping for a release date and I remembered that I have trim from the pink pheno and some qt trim left too... STRAIGHT TO GET BUTANE!!!! LAdies and gentelmen.... QRUSHBERRY WAX!!! well ok its not really but still the plush in w the qt is soooo good holy schnikies!!! It looks like "OHMIGOD". SUB, please!!!

Qleaner, lost good camera at time of harvest but this gives u the idea got two lbs off two plants, Thanks for the strain, all my patients,love it. Tamo.

the aos is turning a magenta/maroon and is gorgeous. the maroon is a little hard to make out under the hps light, but you can see it a bit. i will post better pics of her under a blue light.
the 3d looks to be a wicked sativa. i wonder how long she will take. def more then 50 days, i think. any observations?

Started 5 plush berry seeds 4 sprouted fine and 3 of those 4 have just shown female preflowers, still waiting on the 4th to show. Hell, 3 girls out of 5 seeds isn't bad!
