Rather now be dirty. I want to go into my lawyer with a clean drug test before hand. Makes things so much easier
You gots the right ideas.

it may not be fair, but it's pretty much the reason people hate cops.

being a cop is a "profession". they should act accordingly.
I couldn't agree more.I don't hate them cause they're cops......i hate them cause they're humans. That is where the downfall comes into play.

lies? LOL.. yeah, I'm a lier now. K dude...

grow up already eh?

and while your at it, read this:

arhh her her her her... lame.

I can't believe some uneducated moron is sitting here arguing with someone that has a father that schooled him every fucking day on federal and state laws you moron.

It's a requirement for you to be read your rights prior to being arrested... period. end of story dude.

The police can't just go around arresting people, slapping cuffs on them and just throwing them in the back of the fucking police car man. It doesn't happen that way!! THEY HAVE TO READ YOU YOUR RIGHTS!!! PERIOD!

You want proof?? Let me prove you wrong then my friend.. because you apparently think you know it all. This article comes STRAIGHT from a U.S. State Law book.. which covers ALL U.S. States my friend. And heres the article, straight from the book!!

In the United States, anyone who is arrested has certain rights under the U.S. Constitution. These rights were outlined by the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Miranda v. Arizona: " …the person in custody must, be clearly informed that he has the right to remain silent, and that anything he says will be used against him in court; he must be clearly informed that he has the right to consult with a lawyer and to have the lawyer with him during interrogation, and that, if he is indigent, a lawyer will be appointed to represent him." A law officer making an arrest must read a statement based on this rule, which is usually called "reading your rights" or "Miranda rights". If the police fail to advise you of your rights at the time of your arrest, any statements you made before or after the arrest would be and will be excluded if you were put on trial.

Booyah kah!!

I now rest my case.. no further arguments from me on this one. I just proved my case.. thank you.
As some one that has dealt with the system for quite a while i'd like to tell you................................you are so wrong.Your info is from one side of the fence, and we all know the game is played on the other side.

"IF" all that shit was actually put into play there would be alot less people locked over dumb ass shit. But it gets skipped for the majority so state prosecuters and judges can get their convictions.

Like i said.........as some one that has ACTUALLY been there done that you as a judges son can not convince me otherwise.I got my free t-shirt....how bouts you?

Well i was forced to be detained and never read rights. But i will update once i talk with my mom about this lawyer situation and financing :(
You gave consent for him to check your car right? If so then by law you weren't forced.

I think your gonna end up with havin some fines bro.

WOOP! Stop everything my friend... hold it right there because you have nothing to worry about.

Ever heard of 'Due Process'??

basically, in a nutshell.. any time you EVER get arrested.. and it doesn't matter what state your in when you get arrested.. NO MATTER WHAT!! The arresting officer HAS TO READ YOU you rights.. period, end of case.

In other words, if you can prove that the officer didn't read you your rights... they have no case, they'll have to dismiss the case and drop any/all charges against the arrested person or persons, period.

You got lucky my friend..

tell your lawyer that they/he/she didn't read you your rights.. and trust me, you'll hear nothing but good news from then on.

peace.
this is not true at all

That only applies to interrogation. If they do not interrogate you post-arrest they do not need to read you these rights. They also don't need to read you these rights if they interrogate you before they arrest you. Only if you are arrested, NOT read your rights, and then interrogated does this apply.
