Can I cure partially trimmed bud?

my plants will be ready to harvest in a couple weeks and theres no way I will be able to get it all trimmed before its ready to go in the jar. im in construction and were having a major end of the year rush with work.
can I just trim the bulk of the leaves, cure it and do the final manicure later?

Sure why not?!? Dry it, trim what you can, put it away in jars. Final trim as you pull out of jars if you wish right before smoking.

i've found leaving the small sugar leaves helps keep the bud away from the jars glass
less resin gets lost to the sides of the jar

You shouldn't leave too much on / around your buds.
It will increase drying time, curing time and raise the chance of getting mold.

You realize you have to dry it before you cure it right?

Some people swear to to trimming after the drying, some like it the other way around.
By far most people trim before curing though (due to space issues in the jars / cases etc. and the risk of mold).

I would be careful about letting too much stay on when you cure it, especially if you don't have much time to check on them and have never cured before.

I literally just had this same problem. I work as a traveling salesman sometimes and that can interrupt the grow a bit. I pretty much did exactly this.

Trim the majority of your fan leaves, as you may have read those big fan leaves hold lots of moisture and the more left on the plant the longer it will take to dry and will increase you chances of mold.

Get all the big leaf off first, basically to where all the triched out sticky smaller leaf is still on the bud. Let that dry for 4-5 days and those small leaves should be dry enough to run your hands over and break them off rather than all that tedious trimming.
