More like a 1/8 in. That's a macro shot with 2x zoom (7 mega pixels)that looks way to big t be a spider mite. and sr. is correct, mites won't live in soil. it's to humid in the soil for them, they would explode. how big is the lip on that bowl? 1/4"? I'm not sure that most camera's could even see a mite. They must like something in your soil though. maybe the next time you water them, put a couple drops of anti bacterial dish soap in with your water. that should chase em away.
Thanks man! I actually started a new thread and now I've heard spring tails and root aphids, and it seems aphids are way worse, so I hope spring tails..grizzliy is still OP

Look at the first post
Anyway... It's possible what you have is spring tails. They come in to feed on decaying organic matter. I actually had them too...
The best way to tell is pull one out, and touch it with a pin or something.. if it JUMPs or SPINGS out then you have spring tails.. They aren't BAD... they are actually supposedly a sign of good soil health.... personally I just dont like bugs...
YOU CAN fill up your soil with SAND! Get some CLEAN sand, bake that shit in the oven for a few hours at like 220F if you have to disinfect it... (we dont want to add bugs, or larvae to our soil)
But the sand being a few inches tall on top of your soil, makes it really difficult for critters to live in...
spring tails:
They eat like fungus, and mold... If you are over watering, this will produce *food* for them, and they will thrive... This isn't necessarily bad, I'd just rather not have them.
Don't just immediately dismiss your pests as GOOD though, keep researching.
continue to do so with the oil. and yes, sand works just as good and much cheaper.I've been treating with neem oil... Clean sand is a great idea, do you think that it would work better than diatomaceous earth??
Awesome, giving another dose of neem tea to the ladies tonight and picking up some clean sand in the morning..continue to do so with the oil. and yes, sand works just as good and much cheaper.
Thank you sir I just took some fresh pics and watered with neem tea...make sure your not over doing the neem
IF you can even over do it... i've never poured neem on like crazy so I could find out though
root aphids sound like it could be it.. could be why your yellowing too, if certain sections of your plant start to droop in random places, your roots may be getting eaten.... not to scare you just a heads up... that will take a while of having your problem un checked though...
I'm sure youll be fine.
Lol hell no!Im just making sure your not treating twice a day for two weeks straight
just be glad its in your soil.... your flowers look fantastic, like they are going to fill out like some crazzzzy sluts.
Thanks! And yes sir, I got cfl's for the young clones and 4 ft. flouro's for the rooted plants. All are on the same 18/6 schedule.Looking good, nice buds and great clones.
I like your how you got your flourescent lights set up for a seed and clone room, that means you know whats up
Happy growing and stay medicated.
