Can't really see it but I will take your word for it. Why would you lie about a thing like that? I recommend you don't handle the seed and if ppl want pix...too bad.
Yes it's pretty unusual. I got a twin in the seedlings I just sprouted. That happens from time to time but never heard of triplets
I'm curious as to how this will effect the plant when it sprouts. With the twin that cracked zvuv, did it form two seedlings or just one with an epic root system?
Here's a link to a post with pix in it. You can see they are half the height of their non twin sibling and a whole set of leaves behind in development. I don't know if these are real twins or twin sprouts on a single root system. I would guess the former but she's in soil already so I have no way to check.
What bothers me is that it's going to take longer for the twins to get to the point where they are developed enough to handle stress and fend off fungi etc. This the most vulnerable phase in a plant's life and the less time it spends there the better.
