Maybe think about making a 4" hole cutout in the top corner Of the closet you're growing in?
So I have a 4" booster fan that brings in air from the crawlspace and a 6" inline fan pulling air out of the top and into the attic so I thought/hoped my ventilation would be ok. I'll try adding more fans and hopefully that'l get me by until the weather starts cooling down in 1-2 weeks.

they do absorb some but i take that with a grain of salt. unless the difference is in half ounces than i don't mind. i'll just counter by growing another plant in there. i focus on heat as the number one enemy. i don't notice a huge difference in cooltube grows vs. no glass.

hell yah man. i always look at winter as the prime time for indoors. especially when you can control the heat in a single room. when its 20 degrees outside an unheated room with the door closed can get down to like 48 degrees. (in my house anyway) i just keep the home heating off in that room and vent straight into the room itself. counteracts the heat being produced by the light

Get it as cool as you can any way you can and let them grow. You will be fine. Be careful and choose your expert wisely. Happy growing.

I too love the winter for indoor growing.

So I'm doing everything I can to keep temps down but the best I can do is 82-88ºF. Would switching to a 20/4 light schedule, or even an 18/6 help the plants to rest from the heat stress?

Yes, switch your lights over to 18/6. If they're 24 hrs on rite now then that's why it's so hot in your room.

Rez temps needs to be below 70. Cab temps need to be below 90.

Thanks for the help thus far gentlemen.

Switched over to 20/4 lighting schedule. Cabin temps are still being maintained at 82-88ºF (although it must be cooler than that during dark hours) and res temps are 65-69.5ºF (thats with one frozen bottle in the morning and one at night)

Despite signs of heat stress I'm seeing some new growth and the first root just popped through into the res! I'll get pics up here tonight or tomorrow.

I am happy for you on the root growth. I gotta say though. I have a 400w mh/hps and I'm growing in a smaller space. My temps stay around 75-82. I vent into the attic with a 4 inch inline with 2 120mm axial fans (mostly for the night hour flow). Ambient temps are key. Suck all the air you want, if your ambient is 100 your plant will feel at least 90.

I have beem working to perfect my cab for a long while. My temps are finally okay(now winter is here)(I live in the mojave desert)
ps from what I've learned heat strEss will damage the triche growth during flower if the swing temp from night to day is far to much.

I enjoy the Mendo purp strains very much.
My diesel won't b done for a good nine weeks now. Just waiting. Following you. Keep it up. The temp you allow your plant to survive in will be your end result in potency and yield.

Yes choose your experts wisely

Sorry for the wait. I bumped the nutes up by draining out 2 gal and replacing it with 2 gal of RO with a 4:8 m:b lucas ratio at 405ppm and pH~5.2-5.5. About an hour later this is where I'm at:

Day 7
Tent 88ºF
Res 66.3ºF (just added a FWB)
ppm 305
pH ~5.5-6

I'm planning to bump the nutes up again tomorrow if they don't show any signs of burn in the morning.

On another note, does anyone know what could be causing the leaves to fold in on themselves near the stem, and for the coloring patterns seen here:
