Exactly. And many people (innocents as well) have paid the price for it. That's why terrorists are COWARDS. What goes around comes around, but on the whole, America must be doing something RIGHT to be as well-placed as we are. They exercised that right when they brought down the WTC.
Because unmanned drones and depleted uranium are ridding the world of terrorExactly. And many people (innocents as well) have paid the price for it. That's why terrorists are COWARDS. Because he wasn't put on the "kill or capture" list until 2010. And, he even condemned the 9/11 attacks while at the pentagon...So why didn't they get him while he was eating at the pentagon?
And the escalation continues....Might makes right.Exactly. And many people (innocents as well) have paid the price for it. That's why terrorists are COWARDS. What goes around comes around, but on the whole, America must be doing something RIGHT to be as well-placed as we are.
They may always be terrorists and cowards willing to endanger the lives of innocents. We do the best we can do. We do more for world stability than ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.Because unmanned drones and depleted uranium are ridding the world of terror
Fixed that for ya.... **grin**We do the best we can do to protect corporate interests abroad. We do more for world instability than ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD in order to sell more arms, weapons, and to justify our occupation of sovereign nations.
Raising standards of living through corporate investment is the means by which societies emerge into prosperous ones. More times than not, the problem is not with the investment, it is with corrupt individuals taking theirs before the people. It is the duty of those people to hold their leaders accountable. Until they do so, they will continue to suffer at the hand of their own, not any corporation. That is a world-wide rule. It takes organization, unity, and unrelenting will, but it's possible. And the escalation continues....Might makes right.
Gunboat diplomacy breeds hatred and contempt. Until we realize that, we will be hated. I used to think as you did but I think with age comes a bit more wisdom. At 51 years, as a veteran of the US Army, I've seen enough to know that we should stop meddling in the affairs of other nations for the benefit of corporate interests.
I won't deny the US has had their hands in some dirty shit, I never would. But, I know now that there is more of it happening internationally than is seen in the press.Fixed that for ya.... **grin**
Were any innocents killed in Yamen? Or Lybia? They may always be terrorists and cowards willing to endanger the lives of innocents. We do the best we can do. We do more for world stability than ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.
shit i swore i wasn't going to be one of those assholes who copies and pastes the same thing in multiple threads but since you asked:What law says that the US can kill people on a whim? What law is that exactly?
Its Very easy to doYou can't "renounce" your citizenship. There is a process for expatriation, its long and very expensive, but until you do it you will ALWAYS be a US Citizen. No matter how much you don't want to be one.
Does this mean a drone strike against occupy wall street would be legal? Communist and socialist party?shit i swore i wasn't going to be one of those assholes who copies and pastes the same thing in multiple threads but since you asked:
"the law" is as follows:
us code, title 18, part I, chapter 115
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
article 3, section 3 of the us constitution

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
i purposely neglected to highlight the parts of interest for fear some might not read the whole thing, but you might want to pay attention to the "2 witnesses to the same overt act" deal. testimony in this case does not require a court, as evident by the inclusion of "open court" when discussing an ourtright confession.
So when Jacobo Guzman was DEMOCRATICALLY elected president of Guatemala running on the platform of supporting his people from the exploitation of United Fruit and then subsequently overthrown by the CIA in a coup d'etat, who should be held accountable? The people spoke and elected a leader that would stand for them. Said leader was then deposed by the US government to protect the interests of United Fruit so that Americans could eat cheap bananas.Raising standards of living through corporate investment is the means by which societies emerge into prosperous ones. I would wager. Why? Yemen is either going to be dominated by Saudia Arabia or Al Qaeda, it's really that simple. Were any innocents killed in Yamen? Or Lybia?
Did you see my response in the other thread?shit i swore i wasn't going to be one of those assholes who copies and pastes the same thing in multiple threads but since you asked:

i did. it seems as though you have some letters to write to congress.Did you see my response in the other thread?
Interesting counter to that is that there was already tension, and attempted coups geared towards guzman's predecessor for the same reason that prompted the CIA to act.So when Jacobo Guzman was DEMOCRATICALLY elected president of Guatemala running on the platform of supporting his people from the exploitation of United Fruit and then subsequently overthrown by the CIA in a coup d'etat, who should be held accountable? So join the FBI or CIA then? Its Very easy to do
Join a terrorist Organization
Recruit Terrorists
Plan and carry out attacks that Kill Americans
The US Constitution and specifically amendments 5 and 6 already trump your law and GUARANTEE to every PERSON (not just citizen) accused of a crime the right to a trial by jury. You can have a trial and have 1 person be a witness to the treasonous act and even if the Jury returns a verdict of guilty of treason he CANNOT be convicted for it, because you need 2 Witnesses. The law is difficult to understand since it is written in legalese and jargon most don't understand.shit i swore i wasn't going to be one of those assholes who copies and pastes the same thing in multiple threads but since you asked:
