i took a bud

i no i got a couple weeks left but i have no smoke and broke---not a good combo,anyway i cut the end of a limb------cut a tiny bit off bud a microwaved it---been 2 hrs and im still buzzin--better than the 250.00 oz crap around here---cant wait---gonna be killa here is bud in question

in the oven at 180 is a lot better i heard... but i suppose the microwave could work. back in the day we just would clip a nug and place it under a heat lamp. takes a little longer, but is great!! thats good you got buzzed. sounds like it will be good when finished.

Congrats! Nice looking bud! I remember reading on here somewhere to microwave in short second intervals, if you do microwave, so you don't evaporate that precious thc. Keep us posted on your progress! If that was a side bud I can't wait to see the whole woman before harvest time.

If I ever take sample nugs, I've found that a microwave does ok for quick drying...but it tends to leave the grass taste so I usually don't do it. Oven drying is risky due to temps so I stay away from this too..

What I usually do myself, is take a small paper bag, poke some holes in the bottom, put a nug in it, and seal the bag to a hair dryer on low with a rubber band for an hour or 2 and usually it'll be nice and dry to smoke, it also doesn't leave the grassy taste.

ive done the oven method a few times using tin foil to loosely wrap a piece of bud in and let it go 5min,but the temp is somethin to be careful of.

This always happens to me and am forced to take buds. I said the same thing, the quick dried is still better than the stuff I've been paying hundreds, no thousands for over time.

well, i have smokeables, but my tolerance is through the f'n roof right now. i had a branch get bent from attempting to tie it down, it help up for a few weeks, but eventually went to piss. so, i smoked it. dried it out the slow method. it does not smell like grass, but it does not smell like good bud til you squeeze it. it has that faint yummy smell. anyways. i used the oven for samplings of smoke here and there. not usual for me though. the oven method works, just keep it on 180-200, check it every 10-15 minutes. i dont use the foil, just on a baking sheet. i just can't wait to smoke my finished product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
