3 x 3 tent, where to put fan?

Hey guys,
So I have a 3x3 tent and I'm wondering where I can put the fan inside the tent. I was thinking hanging it with bungee cords from the top, but I don't want the fan moving all over the place because it wouldn't have any real support.

The reason behind the hanging of the bungee cords would be to reduce vibration noise.

I'm also going to be using that $3 carbon filter diy system that is mentioned in another thread.

I have a 6" 424 cfm vortex inline fan.

Also, I need help on the setup. Would it go passive intake -> open side of hood -> ducting -> diy carbon filter -> fan -> outside. I am venting out the hot air into the same room.

Well reading the thread with the $3 carbon diy carbon filter, it was stated that the filter should be on the intake side :/

I appreciate the answer, but my question is still unanswered :/

The question that I'm trying to address is where should I put my fan? Or what is a suitable way to get my fan inside my tent without having much trouble?
