How can I save my girls?

Hey Fellow Ganja Loverz,

I really need help with this one. I was dumb and went ahead to use those fiber peat pots. My girls are about a month old and a few of them are stunted in growth I guess because of those damn peat pots not degrading in the bigger pots I transplanted them in and my mistake in overwatering. What can I do to save them? They look healthy and all but just growing very slow. Please help me. Thanks.

Can we get a picture? To see the damage to prescribe a remedy.

If not can you describe them to us? Plants bounce back all the time in nature, just settle down and help us help you

Hey Ganja,

I will provide pictures later today but let me give you a little description of them. I am growing unknown indica dominant strains outdoors and the 5 girls are in 2-3 gallon pots and been vegging for a good month. Two of the 5 are still small at about 4-5 inches tall. The other 3 are about 5 to 7 inches tall all looking healthy but I became worried when I looked up that the fiber peat pots aren't good for cannabis. I know for a fact that its stunting the growth but we'll see what happens. I'll get back to you with some pictures. Later.

update- I replanted the two smaller plants and tried to tear the peat pots a little bit without hurting the roots. The peat pots weren't degrading after all but I still need some good advice.

Hey Ya'll,

Well I still have no pictures yet due to my camera being f*cked. Anyways I retransplanted them into better soil as well. I tried not to hurt the rooting and cut the fiber peat pot up a little so the roots can escape but there was some roots growing through it. I know I might have damaged a little but do you think they will survive? Gimme sum tips on how to save them if not. Thanks.:?

some times trans planting to a realy big pot will stunt the growth, good rule of thumb 1Galon pot for every 1 foot of growth

Hey Frostickzero,

You just might be the hero to save me. Anyways its night time here and I was done transplanting them all about an hour ago during sunset. I will keep you posted on what happens to them tomorrow. What I think was stunting them was that the peat pots weren't degrading and the roots couldn't escape. I might have damaged a little of the roots in each plant but do you think they will survive? Also, I am not able to find superthrive around my area. Let me know what you think.

well if there is root damage but very tille they should live. Try buying some pucks that you soke in water for a bit till they are max size that they will get and I am doing 2 clones in water and I put 3 small slits on the bottom part where I want them to root and they are showing nuckles so its a good thingbut when they are 1 month old you might be able to start feeding them realy weak food mix, I have been feeding my girls 3 times a week and they love it alot but you should do a soil flush every 2 weeks to make sure that you don't get nute lockout

Damn... You have me head scratched on this one. Um Either your fucked or My idea will work.

Idea A) You run the little expanded puck thing under wter and try to carefully peel it away from the roots.

Idea B) I'm not use if you want to do this but... Possible try to cut the plant at the bottom and try to perform a cloning type procedure??? This is desprite. I won't try this unless all else fails...

Idea C) You let your grow keep on chuging and see if anything changes.

you put the puck on a plate or bown and put some water into the bown and let it soke the water up adding small aboutns of water till its fill size and the out side is a holy net that has holes big enough for the roots to go through but small enough to keep the soil in but the netting stuff might decompose in the soil I'm not 100% how that part works

THANKS FOR THE GUIDENCE GUYS! SUCCESS! One day after the retransplant and damaging the roots, the girls grew about 2 and half inches overnight! However, I have one lady drooping! I mean I watered them throughly, what can be the problem with her? I'll keep ya posted!
