very nice job, plant is looking good. eh, buffalo bugles burn my mouth too much, nacho ones are pretty good though, i bought like 10 bags on sale the other day, might as well stock up when the chance presents itself. I was just listening to nirvana myself, gotta love the classics.

listening to Jane's Addiction in s fla :weed: wow it did get cold didn't it? i like your box and how you have tied 'er down, pretty sweet, can't wait to see it thru.

any of you fla peeps think about just vegging inside and taking them out to flower? i have land and i would just leave them out in the sun, if i think it might get a little nippy i could bring them into shed and screened porches...just think i could get more and do more that way and i think our sun here in TB area would be strong enough. thoughts?

happy grown and i will be back :peace:

That actually does sound like a good idea, daytime temps don't get low until like the end of November around there eh? But thanks for stopping in man I'm going to feed her in like 30 mins then get some pics up soon.

have been thinking about this myself, and really with any light setup all you're trying to do is recreate the sun..i'm in central fl smack in the middle of the city and have a decent size back yard, was planning on building a little lean-to off my screened in porch and throwing some greenhouse wrap over it for my tomatoes and peppers and just throwing a bean in the middle of them to test how she does outside around here...sure would save some money on the electric bill!

Oh that's for sure. Glad to see all my fellow FL growers come out of the tropical jungle xD. The greenhouse wrap will help a lot to keep temps in there. If you do do this, let me know how it goes xD. About to mix up some plant feed right now. Pics coming soon.

Alright as promised, here's some pictures. It is making the journey from "Sweet weed" smell to "Skunky bud" smell xD. I have it in my extra bedroom which is actually the master (16x12) and I can't smell it at all. This will be my grow area after I finish this one. The first pic is of what would be the top of the plant. I believe she's around 1 3/4-2 foot tall at this point if she weren't tied down.

Everyone's hitting it right on the money but yes, cold will probably not be responsible for the twisting you're talking about - instead it would more likely wither them, if that was the case. Twisting leaves however could be a symptom of over-nutrients (called "nute lock out") or nutrient deficiency.
The best thing you can do to figure it out is check the pH runoff. Normal pH is around 6.5. Look for a pH chart online that should tell you the deal. Invest in something like a pH kit with pHup and pHdown.
With my years of experience the soil I continue to use throughout it all is FoxFarm. They have an organic line that is amazing. However the Fox Farm lineup in general has a very complete set of nutrition and you have to be careful not to be too heavy handed.

Thanks man...I think today will be day 6 of flowering...although I'm not exactly sure, gotta go back and check. But that's hilarious! I believe that pot is 1 gallon, I don't see any roots at the bottom yet so I might go a little smaller than that if I wanted to keep my plant under 2". I'm just now looking at your new grow, props =D. Can't wait to watch them grow.

@FriendlyTokez, thanks for dropping in man! I've got a pH test kit and to me it's been reading around 6.3 on the runoff. I'll post pics of that in a bit...The problem seems to be slowly correcting but I'm not sure...it doesn't seem to be affecting the plant too much at this point though. And I've only heard really good things about FF soil and nutes. I think I'm definitely going to go with this next grow.

So fed her this morning. It's seriously getting to be a pain in the ass moving it out of the box, not even counting putting the lid on. Thinking about just letting the lid hang over her somehow without the bottom container. I don't know of any way I could make it less bushy and I don't know how much lower I could take the plant by tying at this point in flowering - she's enormous. Way bigger than nirvana made her out to be. I've read older Autoflowering journals for Short Rider and have heard some really bad shit, and some alright things. I guess they've got the strain more stable I'd give it a 9/10 so far for easy growth and size, as well as it's autoflowering ability and feminization.

By the way I'm sorry I speak in what's known as a "stream of consciousness". xP Pics coming in a few
