12 days no roots?

Hey guys, first set of cuttings on this white widow and they can't seem to grow roots? I see little bumps on two of the six, which I'm assuming are the start of roots, but why is it taking so long? I read about people getting roots in 4 days? The leaves look healthy....

Using a rubbermaid LPA cloner (stinkbud specs),
5.8 PH, small amount of clonex.
1 min on 5 min off
Room temps 65-83
Water 76ish max
3 feet away from 400w MH

What am I doing wrong?

water needs to be in the low 70s and ppms around 500

I never grow from clones but I think you should use some cfl or fluo's for lighting and in a humidity dome till the roots are establishment!

Ok thanks I'll put some frozen water bottles in rez and think about putting a block from my 400 (it's used to veg) and setting up a florcescent. Will the long tubes work or be too much? I ask cuz I already have those somewhere.

PPMS around 500??? WRONG. Nothing in the water, just clean pure water. I use a ez cloner, I get roots within 5-10 days. When I had my homemade cloner it took sometimes up to 21 days just like when I did the rockwool in a dome method. I also don't like the timer thing, I like the misters always on. Gotta give it patience, I also change the water every 5 days or so to keep it fresh.

They should be T5 bulbs. You're water at 76 degrees is borderline but not too warm IMO. I mean in a perfect world we want it at 70. I don't think its the reason you are not getting roots.

Ok, thanks. So I won't worry about cooling water unless it goes higher temp. I'll try leaving misters on 24/7 with my next batch (want a fresh start so I can really see difference). I'll also get some CFL's at home depot today. Thanks

does ur manifold still smell like primer and glue? or would that not matter?
