Why would you take something you have no idea of what its for ?

Ozone generators are for treating water or air, what type/model do you have ?

We cant tell you what applications its used for until we know exactly what type it is,a pic with the model number would be best seeing that there are alot of variations of them.

Do you know if its a corona discharge unit or a uv type unit,i own both types & am famiar with applications for both types, there is a 3rd type but its ultra expensive & the science behind it is over my head.

fuck that shit. a free car is never free. you gotta pay taxes, registration, insurance and upkeep and maintenece. and if the car is a new model all that shit is gonna cost a lot more. but to get back to your original post, ozone generators are usually used for odor treatment. a good place for them is in the exhaust ducting you dont want that shit in the building it causes lung problems.

Ozone(o3) is an allotropic species of Oxygen(o2). It's in an unstable form and reacts easily with organic compounds in the air...
Just put the pump in the room you vent your air from the growroom. I've read that ozone might damage plants and might be bad for your health so try not to put it inside the growroom or in your room for that matter. Also i've read that ozone degrades rather quickly so if you put is somewhere far in your house you should be fine( no lung cancer any time soon, lol )
