Transplanted them today into my 2/3 size 5 gallon buckets. They look good, the roots were strong and the plant came out of the cup in a solid mass. It was obviously starting to get root bound in that small cup!
I also used some nutes @ less than 1/2 strength.... 4L = 16ml of A and 16ml of B, and I used 6ml A and 6ml B instead.... In a few days I'll go to 10ml, then probably full strength!

Lookin' good - I haven't noticed them growing as much, maybe I gave them nutes too soon : \...

Great purchase man. Now invest 30$ in One or two online fans, one for intake and one for extake. Then you will have much better control over temps.

I have x2 136cfm fans... Going to tear my carbon scrubber apart and just buy some ona gel...
Heat isn't REALLY an issue, the ave temp is 26 degrees Celsius, so I could stand to bring it down 2-3 degrees maybe.... not a huge issue....
But! I will have room to put everything inside my tent now - all my other floors fans, nutes, dehumidifier, etc.....

Dont keep nutes inside the tent. Keep them on top or on the side. You dont want light penetrating your bottles and making algae grow. Light should never touch water.

Oh, I didn't know that!
I know in hydro setups you don't want light to penetrate the reservoir, but had no idea it transferred over to nute bottles as well! Thanks for the tip!

They're lookin' bigger! This is day 15 since germination.
The soil is starting to feel a little drier, it's still moist about an inch down - should I hold off one more day before watering?
They seemed to take the nutes really well! Albeit was less than 1/2 strength.... Next watering I think I'm going to do a repeat of the same level.... 6ml of A+B in 4L of water.
Some of the leaves are turned up a little tiny bit - I assume it's normal? There's not too much wind on them, and the lights are about 12-14 inches away so that shouldn't be an issue either...

That curl is nutrien burn. For every day it's burned, it will have slow growth. Take it easy with nutes man, don't overbaby your plants!

Ok, so I flushed them out well last night and one is showing signs of slight overwatering... which makes sense because I really flushed them well last night.
I made sure I drained the pots really well, but it looks like they've still managed to suck up lots of water lol.... won't need to water for 3 days or so....
There was one with some slight nute burn, a little yellow spot on one of the leaves - it seems to be going away now though....

From what I've read it can also be a sign on either low Magnesium and/or low PH in the soil.

PH tester is in the mail..... going to start testing the run off water, and water/nutes before I give them to the plants.... hopefully that'll help.
I don't know if it's Mg def, They're in pro-mix soil, and have had some AN already....
I really think testing the pH is going to be the ticket....

Ok, so the second plant has caught up to the first in terms of "droopy-ness", which really leads me to believe it's overwatering... that's good as far as I'm concerned. The fix for overwatering is much simpler than the pH balance being off, or nute burn.
Going to let the ladies have some "me" time - no water, no nutes for a few days, just uninterrupted LED goodness.

The easiest way to tell if you are overwatering them is the ridges in the leaf. If you look at the "veins" of the plant in their leaves, you will learn about your plant very fast. If the veins are bigger than the leaf, and there are ridges, like the ones you have in your leaves, the leaf is getting "hardened off" and you are overfeeding. If the entire leaf surface is flat, and there are no ridges, they have the right amount of nutrients.
The ph is extremely important. I'm only on my third grow so I'm no expert by any means, but as long as you ph the water to around 6.5 each time you should be good. I'm very much looking forward to see how your grow goes as I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on ordering a Blackstar LED for my tent and want to see how it does in flowering.
