Ebb Monster with Dyna-rok II medium.

Has anyone used dyna-rok II in a ebb and grow or ebb monster type system?
Cleaning the stuff doesn't seem as difficult as hydroton.....at least out of the bag.
Anyone use only dyna-rok as a medium? I'm wondering how often to feed.Any info would be nice, thanks.

i know its an old post, but i would like to also know if anyone use/used dyna-rok 2 medium. i heard thats its good for plants because it slowly releases silicon to the plants. also if anyone has used it do you need to clean it and soak it in ph'ed (5. water before using?

A better rock is sunleaves grow rock its cheaper and its got silica in it

I use hydroton, but will definately look into the other stuff.... All I have to say is that My monster Ebb and Grow is the best sytem I have.... it is easy and thew results are quite impressive....
