250watts How Long Til' Harvest ? (Pics)

Im looking for more of an upbeat sativa high, so im thinking of making the chop in a week. Does that sound about right?
& Guess the final harvest dry weight!! lol :bigjoint::bigjoint:

Wow man looks great. What strain is that? Is it just one plant under the 250w? How long u veg for?

You can get a mini microscope thing that's adjustable 60x-100x for 15 bucks at radioshack. Has a light on it too. Works great.

If you want more of the sativa high ur gonna wanna chop it when there's still a good amount of clear trichomes. So like 30/70 or 40/60 (cloudy/clear). I do my sour diesel 50/50. There's really good thread on here sumwhere which has like a chart showing the different highs and how the trichomes should look for that type of high. Try to do a seach.

Its bag seed, but it looks like and fits the exact description of Nirvanas: Northern Lights. Crazy resemblance, its almost identical. Check out these pics side by side.

I dont want a 'stoney' high though, Id rather harvest a couple days early to get the effect i want, then get the extra gram or 2. If its Northern Lights(and im preeetty sure it is) it says 7-9 weeks, so i figure 8 1/2 weeks would be about right for a good 'uplifting' high. It is my 1st try though, anyone else agree with cbt?

if u don't want the stoney high ur gonna need to do it by color of trichomes like I said above. Can't do it just by time of harvest unless uve grown that strain before. So get one of those mini miscroscopes and check it every few days

You can also trim off a sample bud and see how u like the high but id still recommend checking with a microscope

everything shrinks to 33% of it's original size.

Furthermore those plants are NOT only 1.5 weeks away from completion.

ALL white hairs should be orange/red and shriveled.

My opinion might be a little premature, considering this is my first grow and Ive never seen a plant ready for harvest in person, but I have a jewelers loupe arriving any day now. Ill be harvesting when the trichomes are 80% cloudy and 20% amber. Ill post a couple more pics up later today, theyre fattening up, and the hars are browning more and more every day :mrgreen:

bud adds the most weight like the last 2 weeks and i dont think yours has got to this point.you have waited so long just wait a little more and it will be worth it.i said 14 plus or minis 10 so it could be up to 22g which if u cut now i would say thatd be pushing it.and they just lose sooo much wieght during drying.70-85% weight lose is norm.weight is not everything though,it is mostly for learning since its your first grow,and its looking damn good for being your first.go for quality then weight.

Ive been doing more research and ill probably let them go another week and a half to 2 weeks. I should be getting the jewelers loupe any day now, so ill be able to give an update on the trichomes soon. Ill throw up some pics in a few minutes to give everyone an idea of where she's at.
