I appreciate the fact that you guys saw that i applied to be a mod, and now you are going to come and troll me and see if im worthy or w/e.... its cool.

Just please dont obscure the fact that Azcs and groups like them are a plague in this state. They prey on the less knowledgeable older people that have gotten the Medcards and now are left with few options. They sell second rate meds for top shelf prices, and we in Az COLLECTIVELY feel that isnt fair. They have people sign over there rights to grow, with no benefit.... and i know to this you will say
" its their own fault, they should have read the forms. Its the people that go there an support than that are keeping them running"

But it predatory business practice, and if you cant see that then im not sure what to say to make you see it. True that people that go there and PAY 400 a zip are the one supporting them... but many people dont realize there are better options out here. All im trying to do is be the antithesis of Azcs and be a promoter for home growers, and TRUE caregivers(many of whom have MANY open spots for patients that arent going filled) If that makes me a bad guy then im a bad guy ur right.......

Troll me if you want, but please dont pretend that Azcs is a good thing, and dont defend them as if they were. I have alot of respect for the both of you prior to this whole thing, so plz choose a better topic to test me on, this one actually matters.

THERE IS NO MARKETING FOR CANNABIS IN AZ dum dum!! Its illegal to market a product that can not be sold. So what are they marketing besides the word "compassion"

I live in Northern AZ and I can get decent cannabis for under 100 an OZ. Its not bad especially since they charge 200 or more for it in Vegas. I dont know if its coming from Mexico or grown here indoors or what but I bet it would work real well for most MM users.

If you are a care giver or a sharer of MM you grew, I think your MM should be 200 to 300 and OZ with 300 being killer weed. Am I correct that azcs best MM is 400 and they have other types for less?

Exactly how is signing over your grow rights "compassionate " thats a bogus rule that only benefits the compassion club why? because they can take the 12 plants you are allowed to grow, grow them for themselves to distribute to other patients and still turn around and sell you meds way over priced? It's a win win for them and a lose lose situation to a patient.

But some people will still prefer that to signing over their grow rights to a "caregiver". Anything and everything could happen to a caregiver and a patient could be screwed. Not all caregivers are fine individuals such as exist at RIU. Some will lose crops, have money problems, old lady problems, police problems, theft problems, etc.

If the club was gonna give me some free weed now and then, maybe a safe place to medicate and charge from 300 to 400, many people are OK with that.

My point is good luck helping people get cheaper meds and free meds and letting people know there are alternatives to azcs. However keep in mind that other people have their opinions and the debate here should be for both sides and should remain civil.

No one is keeping anyone from having opinions, however if someone is going to challenge my stance or other members stance on a certain topic then please be prepared to debate, and after all this is RIU so expect the debates to be juvenile at some point as well.

It depends on how you deterine overpriced. IT is overpriced in terms of the competition, or is it overpriced for what it is? You could say that $50 an ounce is overpriced considering how poiss easy ito is to grow good quantities of cannabis. The only reason for it's current price is that it is an illegal substance. It's all artificially inflated, so in reality, what is overpriced?

AZCS has their menu price listed on their forums. here's a link.

Even their meds labeled " Discount Meds" is at 280.00 a ounce. ( Discount Meds usually mean "house shake ")

So who are they competing against??? Street Level drug dealers?, there are no dispensaries to determine a fair price.
Your right everything is inflated gas, electricity, cable etc etc, but this is a weed, and we all know how much it costs to grow this weed.
