so you can taste it?I"m betting I'd prefer the taste of beelasso, but if you want to ralley testers you're gonna have to start your own thread.
ewwwww

Hmm, OK.
I'm not rallying anyone right now, so it's all good.
They say that necessity is the mother of invention. That was the case this week when I ran out of Bee Lasso, which by the way is the best product I've encountered all year.
As for taste, that is something you'd have to experience to make the judgement call.
Things to consider when comparing wicks: taste, burn time, hemp:wax ratio, purity of hemp, purity of beeswax.
The commercial beeswax that I've encountered has lots of wings and bits.. so I stay away from that.
I've started keeping my Bee Lasso boulders in ziplock baggies so that my dogs don't drag them onto the floor.. turns out that wax is sticky... No one wants dog hair hits...
ps- I re-read what I wrote before.. I suppose I did invite testing.. I supposed I'd need to actually have the materials (new hemp) before I offer anything... that was my pre-adderall impulsivity.. NO SAMPLES for anyone
You shouldn't be able to detect much of any taste.. Beeswax burns soot-free and is recommended by the American Lung Association for candles and such..so you can taste it?
ewwwww
lol adderall is some fucked up shit bro, was on that shit for 8 months years ago.....
anyways yep I totally agree with how you weigh out hemp wick quality, that is a lot like how I weigh it out too.... and definitely you gota keep your boulders clean, I always cut off 5 inch strips at a time so its always clean, I can taste the difference when they start getting dirty. I also keep the other boulders I"m not using in a drawer away from dust... pretty easy.. I thought about making my own but when 1 roll lasts me over a month I could care less.
for sure bro I appreciate your posts and research on this, through your trial and error you can let me know what the best grade of hemp for this, plus the grades of beeswax and such.I hear ya Poplars... We o through a boulder in 10 days, so it has turned into a pretty big expense...
I made like 30 feet of my own stuff with two tablespoons of wax only, which is like 30cents of wax..
Anywho, I'm not trying to derail the thread -- I'm still a big beelasso fan...
yeah somebody already looked into that, just a few posts back.does anyone make there own hemp wick instead of buying it from a head shop? you can get a slab of beeswax and a roll of hemp string for less then 20 dollars and make about 300+ feet
no idea you could try sending them an email, [email protected]just ran across those
very interesting
does anyone know where beelasso gets there hemp from? or where the best quality hemp is to order?
i have hemp from hobby lobby and dont think its great quality but its real nice alot better then a lighter
how many different countries grow hemp? it could be from any of hte ones konwn for high quality imo. They use 6 strand from bulgaria.. That is my educated guess.
I think you'd better keep looking if you want to match bee-lasso's quality... just sayin, the likelyhood that you ran into the same exact stuff they buy out of over 30 countries that produce it... good luck man.The world-leading producer of hemp is China, with smaller production in Europe, Chile and North Korea. Over 30 countries produce industrial hemp, including Australia, Austria, Canada, Great Britain, France, Russia and Spain.
well if you want to be truly sure you need to match your macro shots up w/ mine.It wasn't hard to find. Locally I was able to find Hungarian hemp. I found the other stuff immediately, but it shipped from outside the U.S.
I got it today and it is the same as the beelasso as far as I can tell.
I've been wearing hemp clothes for 17 years.. Most of it came from hungary back in the day... I wouldn't touch Chinese hemp with a ten foot pole, either...
which is which? and why would they be different colors if there both hemp? and not colored
