Ive given out my clones to 3 different people already...
a couple people from riu already....
I just dont wanna see them die... in case my house blows up or something....
I like to see them in other grows.. and i dont ask for anything , except that theyre mothered out so ..
in case i need on...
Im short on chops now... but have 3 fire ogs in rockwools ready ...
Im hoping to mother out some louies and high octane since the ho was given to me for free, the only rule bein i mother it out, and i will..
definately am working on cuts of those and should have em in rockwool by next week... i just need some time since most the new ones already found there home... ill keep u posted..

fuck og and fuck being the OG capitol... god damn cali needs to learn how to grow somthin else for realz, and im in so cal, i always keep an OG in the arsenal but its not my focus, its just played out and a total fad, not to mention 99% of the "OG" out there isnt even the real deal.

actually i love OG but im smart enough to realize when somethings played out, also OG is not a kush sir, and there is only 1 og , most of california is sadly misinformed, shit the og#18 im growing i dont even call OG i just call it #18 cuz its not true OG. Im a pot snob im sorry

No one can prove for sure where it came from ...but its here ... call me crazy....
Theres basically 3stories out .... 2 probly not true....
And 3 types of people ....
1.People who think og has no kush in it ... most of them say chemdog and sour d
2. people who think og is basically an old cut of kush... just a bomb kush cut
3. people who think its kush and chemdog...or kush with an unknown sativa...
Me im more of the 3rd type person... but i would reallly have to explain this and it could take hours of backround an antedotes, analagies...lol....etc..
Its complicated but i think og is just some of the kush that was goin around in the late 90's mixed with some of the better sativa doms.... maybe a chem mix....
I remember back when we just called good weed kush ... before that it was cronic ...
but i remember back in 01 when kush was first out ... when i first moved to la.....
The smokers would call it kush because of its earthy smell... and supper skunky smell that would smell up a while room...
Sometimes the name attached to it was bubba or master ... or purple kush ....or just simply bomb kush!hah
This stuff to me was better than most ogs i smoke now.... or most the pure kushes you will get at the clubs nowadys....
The og came out a lil after kush i remember...was more indica than the cronic..more dank...but still kind buds
.. i didnt really smoke og till about 04.. i might have and not realized it...
But i was definately a kush head...
My dealer used to give the bomb kush for 70 an eighth back in 04.... thats really expensive now .. but then it was normal for kush..
This was all before the shops popped up .....
He used to get me og for 65 ..at the time i didnt know wht it was ...but it was goin under the name along with headband...
Which was a really heady sativa dom ...Thats why they called it headband back then ...
The flavor of the og is not much different different than the kush that was goin around then ...
Just a lil more lemony fuelly... the kush then was always really piney and fuelly kinda already for the most part...and reeked like og does..
Really it was so big for awhile before the shops came out with a bunch of swaggy watered down strains....
There were racking in the dough 25 a gram for og easily....
Long story short ...ive grown out many different strains before i even attempted grown og....
From master .. to bubba, to kandy...skunk ..trainwreck ....cali mist... strawberry cough...purple kush..etc....
All before i grew out my first og seed....
Now ive grown out at least 5 different times....
And i will stick with my verdict ...og is the best outta all them....
I been in the medical scene for over 3 years ... and have smoked over 200 strains easily in the last year .....
I garuntee that when it comes to bag appeal , smell, and potency og is some kill....
And you can go look on bud genius test results .... most old cuts of og are 17 to 23%...
I know some blue dream and our d was goin around at about 21% ...but og is pretty potent ...
Sorry for the rant but i talk to allot of growers and collective owners ....
I like to do allot of smoke reports for the clubs and journals...
So ive been around and have lots of personal info to share.... thats all...

Yep....so I'm the only socal kid who has never smoked og. Smoked a kush cut from socal for the first time like a year ago. Hit up alot of blueberry and strawberry cough on the east coast though.

Aha I was always told n thought that og anything just meant its organic grown, as in og kush would be just a kush strain grown organicly, I donno but with as many og's that are out there I'm just gunna stick with it meaning organic grown aha

I haven't been around alot since 99. Back then we were smoking white widow maui wowie and various weed that was all plays on the same name with alaska in the title. And when i am around i don't like a heavy couchlock. If I have a choice I'll go for a sativa leaning hybrid.

All that is fine but OG is a term that originated in northern California not sure what strains they were working with but it refers to being grown next to the ocean Pay meaning Ocean Grown witch is why it is played out in cali almost all strains bred in cali are OG if the.breeders r part of the older growers in norcal or just wannabe copy cats either way its over used but the guys that started it know who they r and laugh all day at all the OG this and OG that and people don't even know what it means likes its an actiaul genenitic like a Kush, disel, skunk. Or other it pretty much was ment to mean a cross bread in cali.

the whole myth behind putz and the conversation where they came up with the name is just a story.....
Kush was what sold in cali ... and without the chems, diesels, kushes, and ogs .. what would the cali seen be ....
Purps and blue dream????
The og was attached way before that .... it was just a name to market the new hybrid kush...
It proliferated in the street.... underground.before the shops were there..
og was a very popular term in its time ...meaning real origional gangsta...
You know the local ogs on the block... older gang members....
The strain was promoated the strain as the origoinal kush....(yes seliiing kush is a big biz)
Once again this is all just heresay just like the ocean grown story .... regardless its a good name and seems fitting ...
Not to mention how many ogs took on different names depending on the cut they were or how they were bred...
Theres really like 5 types ... but people would get confused so the name came into play....

true that.in all the clubs here,its saturated with og,blue dream,green crack,aft, and purps.ans truthfully the streets have way better quality than the clubs,still to this day there has not been a club ive visited that had better than whats floating around the streets.

u just answered your own question.. you dont know why so cal has so many OG haters... why? Well because NOTHING IS TRUE OG ANYMORE HARDLY EVER. If someone tells me its OG i want OG, one fuckin specific strain and it better taste like it and smell like it or its not fuckin OG no matter how close genetically related it is. Everyone hates it down here because the truth is starting to either A ciruculate or B people are tired of smokin the same shit every fuckin day, theres other buds out there that will get you just as high if not higher than OG. Take Agent orange for example i just converted a LIFETIME OG smoker. Someone who swore up and down on their mammas grave they are true to what they smoke and will never pay for another type of bud ever. Well i pulled this AO way early and it still got him so good medically that he doesnt even want to go back to OG, why because he's got a different flavor now, Im sure hes gonna be smokin OG still as it works and its a good bud. But its played out and its not the fuckin super weed everyone makes it out to be. Lets just be honest with ourselves, its the best shit goin around in cali right now generally because the streets are flooded with it, if someone flooded the streets with the fuckin Purple Kush i used to get back in the day it would put this OG fad to the fuckin grave right quick. OG doesnt need to go away it just needs to integrate and stop monopolizing the fuckin market, the only reason it is is because of NAMES and IGNORANCE on the part of smokers nationwide that smoke the stuff. The history of the OG cut that i have goes back a LONG WAYS, and its trackable through all my friends as it was handed down. I know where my OG comes from its OG, its not kush, its sativa dom and it fuckin kicks every other OG i have seen in so cal straight in the nuts and laughs at it. I love OG but i also love variety, and cali is seriously lackin on the variety.
