Hey Kevin, how goes it? The garden grows fine. I don'y know if you saw how I stressed over humidity....all for naught. My true humidity has been dead on at 37-40%..my RELATIVE HUMIDITY guage is what was making my head spin....it read in the 70-80's%. All good now.
LOL. I was reading up on the "open window theory" on harvest. I've determined that I'm in the "zone" on peak harvest. It's just a matter of personal preference at this point. I also figure, if she still sucking down the water, she still swelling her calyxes and throwing out pistils. I checked 5 random bud sites yesterday and there was only one that even had any amber. It was maybe 15% amber and the rest was mostly opaque/milky. The other 4 leaves I checked were a pretty even mix of clear/milky. I was trimming off some dead leaves and accidently yanked off a nugget the size of a silver dollar. It weighed .9 grams wet. Drying it out as I type. I think I'm going to take her either tomorrow or Tuesdays at this point. I would like her to slow up on the H2O intake so I know she thinks she's ready. A one day push for the extra THC. I'll be posting some pics in a bit. But my friend, we both know the final curtain is ready to go up on this show. Peace.

Good morning RIU. I've decided to take her tomorrow or Tuesday. I think I could probably wait even a little longer, but I don't want that much amber....She smells super sweet in the ambient air but gives off a sweet, skunky diesel smell when you stroke her and sniff up close. There is no longer traces of cat piss smell. I'm kind of glad. It wasn't appealing, at least to me. I was taking some dead leaves of and accidently tore of a low growing nugget. 
It weighed .9 grams, and is about the size of a silver dollar. It's doing a quick dry and is heading for a taste and buzz test this afternoon. Here are a few pictures. I ran to the store before lights on and the lady in front of me wasted so much time at the checkout...I quickly scrambled home and had less than 3 minutes till lights on so I hastily snapped a few pictures, half of which were out of focus. So here are the few that were worth looking out..One more set of flower pictures tomorrow...the next set of photos after that shoud be harvested bud!! WOOT!!

I just got to try the nugget. Considering I air dried overnight and most of the day, and finished drying up on top of a CFL, it's smell was still skunky with very little "green" smell. It was extremely sticky even though it was almost completely dried out.The taste was smooth and spicy and almost a hint of citrus. Even before I smoked it, i was happy as hell just for the stickiness and stank! I took a hit and waited a few moments, the first feeling was in my eyes and within a minute it spread across my head with a warm rush! It was very clear and spacy. I took a second hit and waited for 5 minutes. HAHAHA! I got so high, It was still spacy clear headed but now I felt it across my whole body. The trichomes on it were free of amber and probably 35/65% clear/milky. If it smells, tastes, and buzzes like this on a test nug.....Imagine what a proper dry and cure will produce!! I am one lucky SOB considering it was an unknown. So STOKED!!big W00t !!! soon to be harvest those fine colasand let us know after you smoke the test nug this afternoon...and write this post while you re buzzing !! thanks bro.

Good day growers. Hopefully, todays pictures will be the last before harvest. I'm leaning towards taking her tomorrow. I'm a little torn as she continues to drink water and throw new pistils. Something I observed and is amazing to me is the way the calyxes kind of telescope out from the previous calyx. It's mostly on the cola tips though. They're almost finger like...I haven't checked the trichs yet today so nothing to report there. A quick mention...the sample nug I took is completely dried, not cured, and it is hard as a rock. I'm assuming this is a good thing in terms of density=more weight. My wife may be traveling out to Arizona to get our home there ready for new tenents. It's not that I can't trim myself..but she's as excited as I am for our maiden run and said she would be disappointed if she missed helping with the trim. She'll probably be leaving Wednesday at the latest and be gone for 10-14 days. So kids, here she is on Day 65..Hope you like as much as I do!!
