Just a little something I started up while I veg my Vanilla Kush seeds that just popped up above the surface.

I'm keeping it simple with these since there auto's there will be no training. This is my first time growing TRUE auto's so I'm excited! Both the dwarfs already showed sex, the red dwarf is 8 days into flowering today:hug:

I'm also going to be showing pics of the VK, vegging along side these auto's. Right now the seedlings just popped up above the soil and are sitting below 2, 28 watt 5500k cfl's. Once they get big enough, under the Mh they will go. I'll talk more about those later and the plans I have for them. For now here's the setup, if you have any questions lmk!

Space: 2x3x5 FLower Cab, 2x2 veg cab
Soil: FFOF Extra Perlite
Pots: 2 gallon
Nutes: FF Liquid Trio
Light: 250 Mh & 26ooK CfL's 120w so far/ 400w hps will be replacing everything around week 5
Ventilation: 4" inline fan 170 cfm w/Carbon Filter
Fan: 6" Circulation fan blowing on the top of the canopy.
Temps: Lights on 79-85, Off 68-75
Strains: 2x Barney's Farm, Vanilla Kush Fem
Buddha seeds, Red & White Dwarf, Quzar and Syrup all FEM auto's

Pull Up a chair an let get this thing going, lmk if you guys have grown any of these strains and if so what you think of them.

I was planning on running 20/4 but ended up putting them on 18/6 and I figured I'd just leave them.

Sup Uncle CD, yea so far so good. The syrup "front Left" gave me a little trouble at first but seems to be pumping a long slowly but surely.

The white dwarf is the stinkiest so far and she just showed her hairs yesterday!

I have one syrup going right now. I started it sept 7th from seed. I got it as a free seed from attitude. On the package it does not even say auto but it started flowering and this is my first grow so I had no idea what was going on. After I looked it up I could only find syrup in auto's so I take it that it is an auto. I can tell you that it likes nuets. I over fed my plants by not paying attention to the fox farm 3 pack and thought it was asking for table spoons and it was asking for tea spoons. All of my super lemon haze hated it and are still pissed off except one that has been doing great. The syrup took off and never showed signs of being over fed. I topped her today by taking off the top center nugget but I think I took off too much. I was trying to top her for 2 cololases. so then I took off two fan leaves that were right there. I guess I should have left her alone. Anyways she has been easy to take care of and likes to eat so hopefully yours are the same. On a side note. I am going to change my lights to 12/12 tomorrow but I would like to take some clones. The plants are about 10-12 inches so far. Is that too small to take clones?

Thanks for coming in what what! Yea that FoxFarms chart almost got me back when I started too lol.. No worries, at least you caught it and recognized what you where doing wrong!! Thats good to hear the syrup loves the nutes though, I wont be shy with her when the time comes :)

2 things with auto's. Topping is awesome and I've done it with pretty much every "NON auto" strain since I learned how to do it! The thing is with autos is they only have a short veg time so topping them stresses them and limits there veg time so with auto's it will acutally decrease your yield in the end.

Same thing with cloning auto's, if there true auto's which it sounds like you obviously have at least one "SYRUP" then your not only stressing it out but your taking a clone that is going to be the same age as the mom your taking it from. Meaning it will already be flowering before it even has a chance to root and veg..

So stay away from doing anyting to auto's besides growing them and cutting them down when there done. The only option if you want to keep auto's going is to pollinate them with another auto male and get seeds..

Now with your normal strains I would say depending on how bushy they are around 12inches there getting close to being able to take some healthy clones. Basically what you want is a lower clone "softer stem" With at least 4 nodes so you can razor 2 of the nodes off to help develop roots. I can pull up a cloning thread if you want step by step on how to take clones and get them to survive. The most important part I've found with clones is give them time! Hope this helped and thanks again for sharing your experience so far with syrup!

So watching how you dougie will be very helpful even though im growing soiless. I have 2 trainwrecks and 4 himalayan gold going rite now and i think im doing ok. But i love to see what the pros say and do , soak it all in and try to apply it in my growing. Little do you know the time you take to write in these boxes and upload your pics are well appreciated by noobs like me.

Welcome cocakola! You came to the right place to learn how to grow, there so much info on here its a little overwhelming at times but just take the good info with the bad and try an teach yourself and you will be g2g! Sounds like some good strains you have going, I've got a friend thats a little ahead of me with a VK and its growing wonderfully in vegg! Huge maple like fan leaves and just loves that light :)

Anyway if you stick around here there are some great people in this thread shit that actually helped me get started so just take it a day at a time and let us know if you have any questions! Do you have any grow journals going on or any pics so we can peak in on your girls ?

I feel welcome lol , and i know i have from what i've been reading and the people i've interacted wit so far. Yes by the way i do , i like to take pics to moniter there progress or changes. Here they are 2 trainwrecks(25 days old) the big 1 and lil 1 bhind it and 4 himalayan gold(17 days old).
