any idea how much CO2 that kind of set up puts out? or for how long it will produce co2?
Well CO2 does wonders for your plants growth and flowering it can increase yield by 35%, its all based of ppm and normally theres about 300 parts per million in our atsmosphere but in out grow area we can increase this by ALOT, plants natrually like more CO2. Heres a link http://www.plantsneedco2.org/default.aspx?MenuItemID=103I try to keep things as simple as possible, so I have never looked into co2, what does it do for the plants?
Thnxs for the info CampUnderDog, i didnt know about the exhale bags. I will deff. look into them but for now im good with my homemade CO2.CO2 is heavier than room air... so you want those above your plants. think about running airhose directly to your plants (both methods produce a bit of pressure, and the CO2 will move itself). Also look into Exhale CO2 bags, they are cheap, and can be hung at the top of your unit, to rain down CO2 on the plants. I personally use CO2 Boost systems, which has a pump, and airhose to pump the CO2 directly to my plants. My plan is to get an Exhale Bag, and a 5 gallon bucket, and retrofit the pump from the CO2 boost. The Exhale bags are twice as much, for 1/4 the cost, and work under the same concept.
are you mixing in water? if so how much? how are you giving them the nutrients?Sup Guyz! All my Plants are doing fine so far, CO2 Deff. Helps. I Fed them 1/4 teaspoon SuperThrive and 1/4 Teaspoon Cal-Mag Plus(Total Ppm= 80) cause as u can see in sum of the pics the lowers leaves are getting a little yellow. My Next Watering im gonna leech my soil with Fox Farm Sledgehammer just to get the excess salts out.
Sup 99c I Mix 2 cups of sugar in a liter of water with 2 Tablespoons of yeast and a twin air lock bubbler. And yes i do give them nutrients every other watering. I Go with the Fox Farm Set up.are you mixing in water? if so how much? how are you giving them the nutrients?
llllllllllllllllllllllllllhow early should you feed auto flowers for their first dose of nutes?I Feed them their first nutes 2 weeks into its grow.
I was under the impression that as seedlings pure H2O was best. but i just checked Fox Farms feeding schedule and it says big bloom as seedling and grow big not until week 2? DO NOT FEED for the first 2 weeks. Start really small and work your way up. I started Grow Big at 1/4 teaspoon and now i am at 1 teaspoon.
Does this same schedule apply to auto flowers? since some only go 65-70 days?Honestly the only difference is that autoflowering enter the flowering stage alot earlier than photoperiods. so you wont need to use Grow big that much, Tiger Bloom will be the main Feed.
